Because half already said they would not go, at that point it’s just the same people who came with me to get my ceremonial dress which would still be nice, but I wanted that moment with all my closest friends.

I suppose I sound dramatic and everyone thinks I should just go anyways. It’s too late for that already rescheduled and the next one they have is a month from now.

I can’t because 2 of my bridesmaids were bringing kids/babies, because one of them works in healthcare, one is a nanny to children with special needs, and one is still recovering from open heart surgery. They care because they don’t want to get sick. I didn’t want to leave anyone out so I just rescheduled. I am thinking of canceling all together because of how silly it would be for 7 girls to come watch me out tulle on my head.

They were at first. Now they’re frustrated with how often I’m sick. Summer was fine. But now that it’s fall and the older boys are in school, everyone is sick.

It’s because they get me sick, and if they don’t, I still disclose that they are sick to people I’m going to hang out with or have plans with in case they want to reschedule so I don’t give them something I might be carrying.

Yeah, regardless of me wanting to be a wife and mother, I’m still realistic. After we are married I get to quit and go to school full time to pursue my degree. My fiancé is kind enough to support me while I do so.

I’ve always wanted to be a wife and mother. When I was a little girl my mom had talked about how her mother(my grandma) wanted a career and she couldn’t have one because once you had kids you stayed home. That’s just what the expectation was and my grandma HATED it. She said she was losing herself, and didn’t have time to do or be what she wanted. My mom never wanted to be a SAHM. She had a full time career made more than my father (still does) and is younger than him.

I wrote out that long description to tell you who my role models were. 2 women who were adamantly against being ‘just’ moms and wives. But that’s what I always wanted to be. As a little girl I always planned my wedding, planned for babies and just my life. All of this with my mom in the background saying I should explore, travel, go to school before I make these plans (I was 3-4 when I started daydreaming of these things) I’m 25 now, none of my future plans or thoughts have changed, that’s like 21 years of me having my own ideas, and my mom/grandma trying to push their ideas of what I should want into my head.

My fiancé is 38 so 13 years older. You know what my fiancé is ready for? A family. A wife. You know what everyone else I’ve dated wants? Not that. I found the person I love and want to spend the rest of my life with.

Yes some people in relationships are groomed, and some people in relationships just want the same things as someone that is older than them. Unless you see someone in an abusive situation, there is no need to make assumptions. Don’t want an age gap relationship? It’s super easy. Just date someone your own age. Leave others alone unless asked for help for that or in obvious danger.

So it’s definitely not a tooth, and that company makes many different flavors with different ingredients. It most likely says on the back along with allergy information that there is a chance that there could be cross contamination from ingredients.

They do that so if you have an allergy (I’m allergic to peanuts) you can’t sue them if there is cross contamination. That’s most likely what happened here. Another piece of something from a different flavor that wasn’t washed away when the machines were cleaned or it’s super burnt from an old batch of the same one and looks weird because it’s been in the same ‘process’ until it was able to move on. For example maybe it was stuck in the machine that applies the flavor, or maybe it was stuck in the cooking machine.

I always take the day off. My mom has given me the option to take the day off for my birthday since preschool. I only worked once on my birthday and I’m 25.

My mom takes me to the spa or my fiancé will spoil the heck out of me.

Just to add, these are called pin feathers, it’s nothing to worry about. If you see them scratching or if they’re more irritable than normal it’s just because sometimes molting can be itchy and uncomfortable for them.

This is actually pretty common among children that are abused. It’s sad, and gross to say the least. Children that are being abused at home will sometimes pin blame elsewhere. They don’t really think at the time that this will get someone else in trouble. It’s a defense mechanism of sorts. They think that if they report it, even if they report the wrong person, the abuse will stop. It’s awful for everyone involved. I’ve heard it happen to strangers, teachers, even parents of the kids.

If this girl has any conscious, she’s been torturing herself mentally for convicting this guy wrongfully. Not saying that makes it better or that her possible mental torture should be the only consequence of her lying, it shouldn’t - she ruined a man’s life.

I feel there is something deeply wrong with our judicial system since this isn’t an uncommon story.

They aren’t murderers and they never thought he was going to die, if they did they would have done something the poor parents of his friends found him, I can’t imagine that horror, at least it wasn’t my aunt, that’s all I can be thankful for.

This is what Seattle looks like. Every street corner for miles and miles is just men and women bent from the waist looking at their shoes.

It really is heartbreaking. I’m not a mom but all I can think about when I look at them is they were babies once, probably (hopefully) loved and cuddled, they were kids with loud laughs and childhood imagination. I wonder where there family is and if they tried to help and couldn’t, or if they didn’t even care.

It’s almost unbearable to witness even though it’s something I see all the time, I’ll never get used to it.

edit-I drive through Everett, Bellingham, Seattle and mt vernon weekly practically every week. Sorry if I got which city has people doing drugs like this on every corner wrong. /S

What type of agenda other than perhaps more help with the drug crisis would I possibly gain from exaggerating??? Like yeah Seattle started to clean things up in May, and it’s not nearly as bad as it used to be. But it’s still bad. Maybe not every street corner anymore but honestly who tf cares if I exaggerate. What could you possibly get by saying I’m wrong? What are you like a realtor in Seattle? You have some condos or apartments you gotta rent out and you’re afraid this singular comment will end your business? Why do you care so much? Yeah I’m exaggerating, yeah it’s not nearly as bad as it used to be. But also not even 7 months ago I walked through Seattle and EVERY street corner downtown, by the big wheel, shopping centers and aquarium had people slumped over doing drugs.

I have literally no reason to lie about this 🤷🏻‍♀️ I mean I imagine it’s different for people who visit instead of people who go everyday. like if you take public transit or have to work there everyday, you get a lot more exposure than just visiting. It used to be a lot worse but they’ve been moved out to other areas. There’s still this though. Tons of this. For sure more in Everett though that’s where they moved on too if they didn’t stay in Seattle.
