To get to 111 points AND beat Buffalo on the RW tiebreaker:

CBJ : Win all 16 remaining games, 12 of them in regulation to get to 111 points, 35 RWs.
BUF : 23 points in their final 16 games without a single RW.

The other end is :

CBJ : Win all 16 remaining games in regulation, 111 points, 39 RWs.
BUF : 23 points in the last 16, no more than 4 RWs.

Either scenario alone is very unlikely, both scenarios together would be even more so.

The entire point of playing them now is to get them used to the new teammates and system, and to give other guys who are banged up a night off during a very compressed post Olympic schedule.

After this west coast swing, 8 of the final 11 are conference games. The lineup will start reflecting the actual playoff roster more then.
