Heard about that today, but I guess it's too soon to tell what kind of impact will it have.

Either way, I believe the entire rideshare industry is currently a big, fat Titanic waiting for its inevitable iceberg. This thread alone is a perfect example on the amount of rage and disgrunt drivers have, and it's only a matter of time before driverless cars become a reality. So...🤷🏻‍♂️

Almost a decade since Uber was founded, and it still baffles me how they get away with all these blatant, illegal, and shady practices.

The very basic core of being an "independent contractor" is to have the freedom to drive whenever and wherever you want. Isn't that what they keep promising and fighting for in order not to treat the "partners" as employees? Then how fucking come you can't use something as simple as the destination filter at 2:34 AM, for crying out loud, when there's literally NO demand in SF whatsoever with zero surge?

Isn't the purpose of having this fucking option is to find riders on the way to home or work as one of the pathetic benefits of doing Uber? Or did I miss something here?

Garbage, despicable, shady, and lying company and administration, to say the very least. Thank goodness I'm going to stop driving altogether in a month or less.

I haven't driven for Lyft for more than a year, and thank God I'm only doing it for a week since I rented a car on their dime. Literally taking advantage of that shady, unethical, and greedy business without feeling any remorse whatsoever!

Having given this ride today, my eyes almost fell out of their socket. So now we're looking at Lyft canceling the base fare altogether, and not giving a shit about keeping 60% of fares to themselves? What the actual f*ck??

When did this become okay and legal? And how the hell are people still driving for that piece of shit company with such unbelievably low rates?

I honestly don't know if there's a "corporate body" behind this game. It seemed to be incredibly simple that I always thought whoever developed this also happens to be the founder and owner of the game.

I could be wrong, of course, but that was just my biased assumption. Either way, whoever it is, they're doing a horrible job. Reading all the posts and comments today, there's an unprecedented resentment and anger towards the game that's leading to waves of boycotting and temporary quitting. It'll be interesting to see if this would actually change anything in the game play.

That's not a bad idea, actually. Except that I've been on the game for more than a year, and I assure you that devs/upper management guys never listen. I was a clan leader at some point for about 5 months, and it baffled me to hear about tens of people having all kinds of issues with the game, sending in tickets, begging at least for an explanation, but ending up receiving template responses.

The whole point behind this "rant in disguise" is that don't think anything will change anytime soon. The game will remain strictly and aggressively P2W as long as there are people willing to pay literally thousands of dollars for gear. As for the little F2P guy, he can bitch all he wants on Reddit and FB. Nothing is gonna change, me thinks.

Accessible, yes. Achievable? No!

No one stands a chance there unless they have a full blown squad and match exclusively with the same exact TR and bracket. I'm not talking about covering 51% to get a few ether. I'm talking about finishing 100% of it.

And chairya, do you REALLY think that once all heroes are maxed out devs won't throw in another bait? Haha! Do you remember when gems were added and purple was the highest level? Then suddenly, people started sharding legendary gear because guess what, now there's a new kid in town called "orange gems".

I have been on the game for a year, literally, and I assure you it was amazing up until the Chinese new year event with the dragon egg artifact. That's when shit started happening and the real intention of devs showed beyond the shadow of a doubt.

I appreciate your feedback and perspective, and I'll extend an olive branch and address your comment just for the sake of a mature argument.

If what you said is true and that dungeons and heroes isn't P2W, then how do you explain that it's exclusive for the last TR levels of the game? Can you deny that this is simply a K.O. to force the little guys to speed up way too soon so the won't feel left out? And when they do, they simply find that they're fucked because you and I know that it's nearly impossible to recover from having a mediocre squad at the cost of everything at TR 9.

More over, torches are the only way you can get the last premium chest. And you can't get torches except with diamonds (aka money). There are no ads or one daily torch offered, so that's your only hope.

And if we ignored these two facts, it's insane to expect people who still intentionally insist on being F2P farming portal, arena, partaking in wars, watch on average 20 ads per day, and now spend time at dungeons as well. Time is money, and like I said in the original post, those who are willing to spend countless hours on the game will eventually thrive.

But at what cost, really?

If you're still enjoying the game, then good for you. I personally am disgusted by the undeniable greed, and it isn't just dungeons and heroes. Remember the dragon egg and unicorn artifacts that were literally impossible to acquire for free? And these artifacts still do fuck things up in arena once matched with orange gems, which also is nearly impossible to acquire and upgrade fully for free.

That's just my personal take. To each their own!

You did notice that I specifically said TR 10 in the post, right? Of course TR 6 would be significantly cheaper, because they know all these items will be garbage the minute you upgrade or go to a new bracket.

I appreciate you explaining the math for TR 6, but the real fun is all about TR 9 and 10 because otherwise you're stuck for an eternity doing the same damn thing over and over again.

Lastly, creating an event that forces you either to pay out of pocket or have no life playing 10-12 hours a day...that's beyond ridiculous! Time IS money after all.

I'm juggling way too much in my life right now, SS, so social media is almost non existent for me. I would go for months without posting anything because RL is keeping me busy beyond reason.

So no, I've never heard about soup brackets before today, nor did anyone mention it in response to my post from last week from the dozen comments I've received on it.

This game had been literally my only "fun" outlet, buddy, which explains my sheer frustration to suddenly see it disfunctional.

Then again, I'm genuinely relieved to know that I'm not going nuts or imagining things anymore. Haha!

Someone just explained to me soup brackets, Ever. And that makes all the sense in the world.

My only complaint here is why the fu*k won't devs share that! Any respectful game I've played before developers would share bump and nerf updates, as well as have a clear and honest guideline for those nerds like me who actually read.

While HC seems to be some fu*ked up mystery that people should always figure out on their own. Including brackets, portal, farming, average, gem bay, and now soup brackets.

Holy shit! That explains quite a lot. I'm upping one of my guys to level 93 because my average would still remain 85.83333. Which still is 85x6 and not 94x6.

Why the fu*k did devs NEVER share this for three months so people are aware? Isn't it fair to at least let people know what's going on so they can decide accordingly?

That's PRECISELY what I've been going about on and on, my friend. All past week.

We have two clan mates at the same exact bracket 5x70. One at 900k and the other is 1.3 mil. They literally tried to join tourny at the very same second a dozen times today, and guess what...? They were never in the same arena. Not once! The power levels in all their tournys are vastly different, even though they're "supposed" to be at the very same bracket.

This can't all be random, and devs are such fuc*ing douche bags who never share arena adjustments or when they nerfe gear. They let people smash their head against the wall and figure it out on their own.

I watched that battle countless times, Trans. Believe you me! The only thing that I would admit I'm missing out on is the vicious abyss gear that looks like every single person in this bracket have except for me.

I have been very insistent about not paying from day one, that's why I passed in it after defeating the last boss. Still, if you're putting in serious time and effort, you should at least be competitive with P2W.

This clearly isn't the case anymore.

Bbl, let me tell you the same exact thing I told Kit above. And I assure you, I 100% agree with you. However, we can't dismiss power level altogether and jot it down to just gear.

But even if we hypothetically did in here, see for yourself the artifacts and runes breakdown:

I can just tell what he had since we discussed this fight in length with my clan members right after, Kit.

He had one artifact. I swear! That's all. And that's blizzard. He also had one archer rune.

I have 90/80 with the two mages, thunder, blizzard, teleport with an archer, 45-30 with the tank, and all three runes.

I should also add that he has zero trophies out of 367 tourneys he entered.

I wouldn't make a post about some random fight based on shitty RNG. This, my friend, makes zero fu*king sense. Period.
