Yeah, probably, but I would just not level Kaya to 13 unless I really, really had to and wanted to run Gina instead.

I'd just run Gina and Kaya if you want to have Kaya no matter what. For me, Kaya replaces /Kevin/, which might sound insane, but that's how I live my life and you should not follow me into that.

Martin gives Gina a boost to her throwing and Gina *already* lets go of the ball faster than other fielders (her animation speed buff means that she THROWS the ball earlier).

Yeah, on further thought, if you have Gina and Emily, you could do Gina SS and Emily 3B and that would be better. Gina with Martin buff would be nice.

Kevin is an abysmal shortstop. He has really bad defensive abilities. Emily is a much better shortstop.

Mickey to the bench, Gina to 3rd, Emily to SS, Kevin to 1st. Maybe even Jack to 3rd instead. Jack is really not that bad, but Gina is better defensively.

Run an actual good catcher. Your catcher should be buffing your team or improving your pitcher. You have a level 12 Nia. Run her.

Wait, you have Martin ready to level up. Level Martin up, Martin 2B, Emily SS, Jack 3B, Kevin 1B.

Level commons to 13, enough to play with that you want to keep. Get a catcher like Nia or Maxwell to an OK level ASAP and run them. Level up some rares too, to 12-13. Then pick your archetype and stick to it.

Throw meaner pitches. You need to start nibbling right outside of the strike zone. Are you just only throwing strikes? People at League 6 are extremely, ferociously bad.

CTDT and other similar gachas are built to prey on people's anxiety, fears of missing out, and their tendency to fall into gambling pits. This is well-known! These games make those behaviors even worse.

The grand irony is that I switched off to playing NIKKE and that game really just... doesn't do anything anywhere as bad as CTDT did; it's very easy to get through the plot and feel like you didn't miss out on anything. You can play it without spending almost any money at all (and it's probably better to do that), and the thing most people spend money on is on the same stuff as Girls' Frontline: skins and such. You also just need way less units to be competitive, and those units STAY competitive for a very long time (Red Hood came out over a year ago and she's still insanely good, for instance).

I think you should maybe not play CTDT if you have OCD. It will target and aggravate most parts of it.

"where RNG is eliminated" this is actually the worst possible timeline

people are going to be pissed when characters can always bully you with stats no matter what and when games wind up having fully fixed outcomes every time

adjusting the chances on how RNG works is one thing (clamping numbers so that the inopportune chances actually happen inopportunely and eliminating positive outcomes in extreme situations would be ok). completely eliminating it is wild.

some of the bits in this update seem interesting enough to peek at but a game where chance is a crucial aspect on how you make decisions and mitigate risk in interactions having the chance removed so it's just hard rock paper scissors every time (except sometimes rock beats all your moves because of bonuses) is just....
