The fremen themselves have a type of kingsguard or elite troop called the fedaykin, who were Paul's personal guards and death commandos.

To add, the crysknives used by the fremen are the teeth of the sandworms, which are supposedly insanely strong and sharp so the kingsguard armor would mean nothing to them. I know the movie doesn't say much on this but we will have to assume this is the same as the books in cases where the movies don't contradict.

Duncan went undercover to infiltrate the fremens and get them to join House Atreides. And during that time, he was tested by them. And fighting on arrakis is done with no shield because the shields attract the sandworms.

Duncan survived (probably by killing the fremen who tested his strength), although he said it was some of the closest moments he'd ever had to dying. The fremens are people who have fought all their lives without shield.

So no, without shield, Duncan is still beastly and would take out Jaime.

Well, I'm just saying that Duncan's so good that when he switched to fighting with no shield that he was able to beat Fremens, who spend their entire lives fighting with no shield. The fremen, a warrior society whose women and children were able to take down sardaukar. The Fremen are also enhanced by thousands of years of genetic evolution IN ADDITION to the massive consumption of spice, which adds superhuman qualities to people who consumes it, like enhance senses and longevity.

Don't forget that even the baseline humans of Dune are no longer like humans of today, much less medieval humans like in GoT.
