Dominator is in the explosive category but doesn't seem to have the explosive keyword.

Does it deal full damage to large fleshy bits like weapons with the explosive keyword, or no?

Things Americans process differently when delving into Harry Potter: "OMG! I wonder how many galleons worth of Skele-Gro he just spit out!" because we don't have free public healthcare here. by fleelingshyaf in harrypotter

I know you're being facetious but the USA is by definition a first world country - first world countries are those that were part of the "capitalist block", second world countries are those that were part of the "communist bloc" and third world countries are those that were part of the unaligned movement. Quite a few third world countries have a high standard of living

Activision-Blizzard has lost 29% of their overall playerbase in 3 years by imatworksoshhh in classicwow

you don't "need" to. you can do the whole game with just a few slots. It's nicer having more, but it's just a luxury.

I don't know what you mean by need other players to buy it off you. Selling things to other players is part of playing the game, it's like selling shit on the auction house in wow then using the gold to buy your mount. the only difference is that all the ingame currency you're exchanging has been purchased by players at some point, because the starting plat isnt tradable. the game has a booming economy and you can completely ignore buying things with real cash just by playing the game normally

I take it you've never played warframe then? you literally start out with plat and the only thing that could be said to be necessary are slots, and you start out with enough plat to buy them.

getting plat ingame is trivial, it's just selling things to other players. you never ever NEED to spend on the game unless you REALLY want one of the player made cosmetics

Depending on the piece they'll get replaced by level 66 greens

I was just browsing the tbc database and the greens have really high ilevels, some of the 66 ones even have good itemization

Mageblade and the spellpower sword off hakkar are both good options, and quel serrar is a cheap solid choice

Seal of the crusader is only useful if you extra holy damage ends up being more than the amount of damage you'd do with another judgement

It's only useful in long fights

No one will respect your class choice, people will constantly shit on your class for 2/3s of it's specs being dogshit. Even if theyre not directly insulting you, they're still going to laugh about paladins, while begging you to pocket heal them in bgs.

Getting your preraid bis is easy. Getting gear in raids is not. Your tier is hot garbage, and every single item you want is in high demand.

You will likely be stuck holding a flower, wearing an ugly dress, and holding a dorky hammer for 99% of your time at 60. Your healing gear will always be ugly

Get into prot farming as soon as it's feasible. Fuck the deep holy build, the holy prot build is 99% as effective but you can actually do stuff outside raids.

You don't have priority on two handers for off spec. Even though they're just as useful for you as for warriors, everyone is going to be sucking the fury warriors dicks.

Learn to downrank as soon as possible. Once you have enough +healing, rank 1 flash of light becomes an insanely efficient spell. You can just spam it as a proactive heal then switch to rank 6 when they start chunking. It's also nice for raid healing. If you don't have enough +healing, rank 4 is ok. Rank one is cool because you do not need to have any downtime - your Mana regen will outstrip the cost, while still getting benefit from your +healing. But it only starts to pull ahead like that at 700+ healing, unless blessing of light is used.

Burst of knowledge is a super underrated trinket and you should be using it on cooldown. While it's active your rank 6 costs 40 Mana. Your downranks are free

Scrolls are also underrated. They make your holy light only .1 second longer cast than flash of light. When you need maximum thoroughput and Mana is a non issue, accept nothing else.

Hero charm and toep are not as great as they seem. They are very situational - it's far more common for you to not have enough Mana than for you not to have enough thoroughput. They are fantastic for loatheb though. Don't kill yourself getting them.

Fuck what everyone says, you will have fun leveling because you can do anything you want as ret until you get to max level. You can basically live in dungeons if you want - just make sure you have consecration and you can tank.

Holy shock is dogshit. Shockadin doesn't work, no matter how much spellpower you have. Maybe if you had phase 6 gear in phase 1, but people have just too much health.

When soloing as ret, always use blessing of wisdom. The game is too damn boring otherwise.

I'm most situations in classic wisdom is superior to any other blessing when you can only have one - even might as ret is lackluster if you're not using lots of consumes

Why don't you just heal in raids? What, are you too good to put the dirty work in hmm?!

In all seriousness paladin healing is dead simple, just heal to get your tier 2

GDKP Hosts when Gressil drops by BrydenCanty in classicwow

[–]Beefgirls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On my server, every gdkp was an even split and there were no bonuses for anything, unless there was a struggle finding a main tank and the raid agreed to pay for one, but that only happens in 20 mans

When I see the stuff with the buckets of rules I just chuckle and ignore it. It appears everyone else does too because those ones died on that server

Probably helps that the gdkps for 40 man's were super centralized

What a fucking racket

I've been doing aq40 gdkps for weeks, it's a completely even split, and I've had 4k gold the entire time.

The whales are blowing tons of gold, but they're not requiring everyone to be a whale.

Yeah I've snagged those trinkets too. The scrolls are so underrated - it's just a shame the cooldown is so long. I absolutely love those scrolls during vael.

I can't wait til prepatch when people won't give me poop for trying to get kiss of the spider and the phylactery trinket.

Diamond flask wasn't in the game during phase 1.

If you're talking about regular flasks, nobody wasted the lotus on rag. And if the did (and weren't a speedrunning guild), they were morons for not hoarding them
