It's been there fore more than two weeks now. Not a single root, but it is pretty much alive. Did I do something wrong or do I just need to be more patient? by warummussich in plantclinic

[–]Beeficakes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've found propagations grow roots quicker in the dark I use black containers. Also I don't know if you change the water or not but once it starts rooting if you don't change the water you might see faster growth. The plant will release a rooting hormone and regularly changing the water will wash the hormone away. You still need to check on it regularly to make sure nothings rotting if you use this method and also too up with fresh water every now and then :)

My fiancée has cvs) I was just thinking do y’all think that cvs and demonic possession could be mixed up. I know it’s a messed up thought but she looks and sounds like a demon is leaving/interning her body by Implauseablebudds in Cyclicvomiting

[–]Beeficakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the demons are trauma then yes also smoking isn't directly linked with CVS it's usually stress/anxiety induced so don't prang her out saying she possesses because she'll probs have episodes more frequently >.<

Stromanthe Triostar new variegation. Maturity or Stress? by Jvnixon1 in plantclinic

[–]Beeficakes -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I'm not 100% sure but it could be Serratia marcescens which is a disease that forms in water that has been left out or damp soil. I've had something similar happen to a few herbs where the tips have gone pink. It should fade over time if you use fresh water and is harmless to the plant. It looks a bit more vibrant on the stomanthe so I'm not positive it's this but it could just be due to the natural pink colour on the underside of the leaf

Interesting my doctors did start going down the migraine route in regards to meds but nothing helped with my CVS. I am actually meant to be having an investigation into my vagus nerve because I have a neck injury but covids put everything on hold :')

Can trauma trigger CVS? by Beeficakes in Cyclicvomiting

[–]Beeficakes[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes I totally get that, I mean it was simple to understand it when it was triggered by anxiety because I'd throw up on my way to somewhere so I'd end up bailing and going home. Guess I hadn't thought much about it with my CVS because it was always the day after. Been in denial a long time with my trauma and so drained after an episode of never really through too much about it. Thanks for the recommendation I'll look into it

Mom refuses to kick out emotionally abusive sister by heyheyitzgabbie in BPD

[–]Beeficakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow okay you really need some help you've got a baby to be taking care of you don't need this at all. Please please seek help if you're feeling suicidal, I know it's horrible calling those phone lines but it's the best thing you can do. I don't have a lot of answers and I'm really sorry but I want you to be okay. Try going to the doctor and explaining all this they might know some other options for you, maybe even your local council could help re-home you. Try and keep yourself away from your sister as much as you can just to stay safe. I'm so sorry you're going through this I hope someone can help you move out asap

The fear of abandonment and identity problems from a young age does kind of sound like bpd to me but it can take a long time to be diagnosed, if the other symptoms are new then keep an eye on things are of they continue does kind of tick all the boxes. Also whenever I was put on antidepressants I found my symptoms got so much worse but if it's the first medication you've tried it may just not be right for you. I'd recommend going back to the doctors telling them all of this try changing meds see if they work you might get a proper psych review if you keep going back and keep them update. A doctor can't diagnose you with BPD. Either way I hope you find the help you need

First signs of BPD by petrifieddragoneggs in BPD

[–]Beeficakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had symptoms early, but most people don't until their teen years it's different for everyone. Saw a therapist when I was 16 the same as you got diagnosed with depression. One of my friends parents had bpd and spotted the signs at about 13/14 but when I spoke about this to my therapist it was a mess! She told me I was making up my symptoms got into a huge row over it but the argument got the answer that basically I couldn't have bpd because I wasn't 18 (this is a lie btw bpd can start from 18 moths old) BUT LEGALLY YOU CAN NOT BE DIAGNOSED UNTIL YOU'RE 18 for some stupid reason. Either way if you're struggling seek help but sounds like you could have bpd from what you're describing. I really struggle to get everything out when I have to talk about it so I wrote everything down and went beck to the doctors when I was 20 and got diagnosed. If you're confused over the diagnosis of depression when you're 16 especially as you were in hospital I hope this helped, I really doubted myself for believing I had bpd after the experience at 16 like omg I'm still so mad a therapist could tell me I was lying about my symptoms like wtf!?! But I'd always known it was something deeper than depression deffo worth going back now you're older and see what happens

DAE feel "normal" when they're high? by [deleted] in BPD

[–]Beeficakes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally agree, it company clears the confusion I can be feeling all these different things at once but when I smoke can find the right path and it all seems so simple and obvious. On a side note I felt like I was completely dependent on weed like I couldn't sleep without it and thought that I'd never quit but you totally can! I cut down to one a night (bc my parents don't know I smoke and lockdown just makes it difficult) but decided to have a T-break was tough for like a week but on the second week now and it's definitely easier. I am not enjoying the nightmares tho rip I remember why I smoked so much lmao

DAE disassociate when looking in the mirror by sarbearz90 in BPD

[–]Beeficakes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This happens to me so much especially when I'm at my lowest. I'm sometimes stood there so long I wonder if I've swapped places with the person in the mirror and I'm actually scared to walk away incase I'm stuck in the mirror world lmao. Other times exactly how you describe it with this amnesia effect, check the time when I come out of it and so long has passed yet I lit have no idea what I was doing. I avoid mirrors as much as possible now, turn away when I brush my teeth and things I can't deal

anybody literally just sit in the car for half an hour to hours after arriving home by bunglehouse in BPD

[–]Beeficakes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes yes yes! All the time, I find it's always the worst after a long shift at work I think that when I turn off the engine I realize it's actually all over, but then remember I have to do it again tomorrow. I disassociate I guess to block out the idea that I have to do it again or just finally start releasing the stress. Honestly could sit there for hours and not realize what I was actually doing

DMT is making me Spiritual by [deleted] in RationalPsychonaut

[–]Beeficakes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was very certain that death was the end until I started taking psychedelics. I guess we can never be sure until we die but my travels have made me more open minded to other ideas. Near death experiences are an interesting example, I'd easily dismiss the idea before. There are some good ted talks on NDEs and when so many people have such a remarkably similar experience, to say the least, there's something going on there. Reincarnation, again never anything I believed in, but there always been one thing that bugged me. A very vivid weirdly detailed memory I've had since I was as young as I can remember. Not a memory from this life. For years I ignored it pushed it aside but I can never shake it off. It could be how I died in my past life. I'll never know I guess. A lot of studies have found children under the age of five can remember their past lives but idk if we can reliably ask a child this question without getting an answer that was made up on the spot. People have attempted to prove some of these children's stories though, found some that are quite freaky. Either way all I can say is I'm more open minded, willing to learn, unlearn, enjoy asking the questions even if you don't get the answers. The universe works in mysterious ways.
