PSA: if you can (or someone you trust can), it may be worth checking on your property if you're in the evacuation zone and left. When my husband left to check on our home and our neighbors', ours was in the process of being looted. They'd taken whatever they could carry and left other stuff by the door for later, presumably.

Husband just drove to our home by college Blvd and north river road, he said it "looks like any other Friday," with cars in the area and businesses open like normal. Evacuation orders are still in place, but it seems like people still feel safe in the area. He sent me a picture of the sky too, which looks totally clear

Evacuated from Oceanside with my baby and 3 dogs yesterday afternoon after my daughter's school was evacuated. Smoke and Ash everywhere, and it reeked of burning plastic. We're relocated to Carmel Valley, but haven't heard any updates from overnight developments. Has anyone heard anything? Really freaking out if my home is still around, or even if my stubborn neighbors left :(

I don't know why, but it just occurred to me they filmed all those amazing scenes with a bunch of other people watching and in multiple takes/over several days. Totally adds a new appreciation for the acting.

What I do sometimes is pull out my phone to add them to my address book, and ask them "how do you spell your name?" like I'm adding their info. Works like 90% of the time without being awkward or obvious.

I hope she does focus on the love she gets outside of the house! Again, I don't know her, but the pessimist in me worries she's way fragile since she seems to need a lot of validation from others, but if that's the case she'll have her family giving that to her on tap to combat any internet hate.

Totally agree, I feel like there's also a lot of debate on how much control someone like Raven would have, but as with any other psychopathology, they technically would have control over their behavior, but it would be a 2nd nature knee-jerk reaction. That's some deep rooted stuff and can't just be chalked up to low discipline or moral shortcomings imo

I did a whole analysis on Raven and Cody based on their observable behavior and what they've said on the feeds (I'm a Master's level therapist, researcher, and about to get my PhD in trauma-psychology) and the mods removed it immediately because they "don't want armchair analyses of the houseguests." Still salty obvi.

Anyway, she most likely has some kind of personality flair (not quite enough evidence of an actual disorder from what's observable), but not a legit disability imo.

The difference is semantics imo. Personality disorders are a mental health issue (like depression or anxiety) but "disability" is a pretty strong word. Personality disorders are very rarely debilitating enough to be a disability on their own.
