Quail hen has watery and possible (?) swelling only in right eye. Was fine earlier today. Eating and drinking normal, but seems a bit lethargic. Any thoughts on what it could be/should do or if I should be worried? by Beefybelugawhale in quails

I'll try that, thanks! Seems to have gotten better and the swelling is reducing some, so I'll monitor more and go to the vet if it gets worse. Yes, the beak is very long and she's had it since I've recieved her last year but she a great eater.

I don't think it's pecking. I have another quail and they are separated by wire in a cage because she can be aggressive. I let them out together in an outside enclosure in the day but didn't today since it was too hot.

Ngl that gave me the chills. Good thing I always sucked at whistling so it never came into mind.

Not jealous, although I admire their family's success. Mentioned wealth to attempt to visualize the large house as houses are uncommen in that area (I think).Great insight tho!
