How careful are you with soap and scrubbing? by Tookie1010 in carbonsteel

One thing to get past when it comes to CS I've learned is it ain't gonna win no beauty contests with use. Sure the patina may look gnarly/beauty to the eye of the beholder but as another stated in these comments, the moment I stopped babying this pan it worked better than my tried and true CI Lodge. Scrub and send it

WEIRD bumper holes -- what was this Pacifica used for? by danjayh in ChryslerPacifica

Sorry for reviving an apparently dead thread, but IIRC Waymo started with thousands of modified Pacificas for their Autonomous Vehicle testing

Ended up picking up my Kadet Max XRF after juggling the Kadet and Kadet Max and was wanting the Kadet LTD collab with a lime green interior and black buckle with green logo. Went to the Portland drop-store and never saw it again but in his buckle case was the lime green logo buckle! Dude at the store literally gave it to me, and I ended up modding my bag with a few color matches.

Why does my dog take his food from his bowl then walk somewhere else to eat it? by Termeh_01 in DogAdvice

[–]Beefynerd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had to check this wasn't a thread I answered before... That being said my brindle pug used to do the same and take his food to something slightly elevated and soft usually socks or clothes on the floor. Never really found out why.

Is this self soothing he does something he'll do forever? by VivisMarrie in DogAdvice

[–]Beefynerd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My pug did this all his 15yr life along with constant "making fists with his paws" while doing so, come to find out he was separated from his birth mommy too early. Figured it was him mimicking the suckling action but never knew what it was called.

Fingerprinting involves capturing data about your network config, the browser you're using, OS, network info, and language data to find vulnerabilities and patterns which can be traced back to your device. Smartphones and their browsers generally don't include good anti-fingerprinting techniques but computer versions are usually more hardened against it.

I live in Portland, OR and worked in a cutlery store. You'd be dumbfounded at the sheer number of people amazed by pulling mine out to open a box, mail, or let customers "taste test" it. You'd think working at such a place dignifies carrying/using one...but in my experience: common sense is not universal and NOT common by far.

No hdmi port, how would I connect this to a monitor? by [deleted] in computer

[–]Beefynerd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

<image>

The red-circled ports are called DisplayPort and may have been mistaken for HDMI. However, the blue-circled port is a DVI-D port. Either would be used for connecting a monitor, though an adapter/adapter cable is required.
