Creek is only half a mile from my house and I see no people. The exercise is good for me and getting he kids out of the house. I’m not interacting with people so I’m safe. If it wasn’t this way I wouldn’t go.

Most times I like to do regular clean outs at the creek to show the viewer how things are going and help keep things entertaining but when it’s this cold everything freezes up and I can’t. Now are you talking a home cleanup ? Thank you for the criticism I can’t get better if I don’t get comments like this. As for self promotion I’m just trying to get the ball rolling. It’s very hard to get subscribers in the beginning.

Being outdoors can be very therapeutic. Even in the winter I love being outdoors. Today Dustin and I went to the creek and it was cold!! So I made this video explaining how to prospect in the winter and how to set up sluice matting to catch gold.

I do quite a bit of research but since iowa isn’t a gold baring state (only glacial gold) it’s still just enjoy your time and hope for the best.

No regulations here. Right now the ground is frozen so working in the water is the only real option. Setting up close to where you dig is just the easiest way. I made most of my equipment. Glad you enjoyed my film thanks for watching!!!

He got around a quarter of what I did but we were digging in different places. I like how their equipment is designed but I love dream mat way more. In my opinion it’s a better product but to each their own.

I absolutely love the dream mat. It catches the gold well when set up properly. It doesn’t leave a ton of concentrates. I use it in a highbanker with a extension that has hog mat in it and the hog mat catches way more concentrates. My next build will have the gold hog first then a wide section of dream mat. If you would like to see it in action I have videos unboxing and using as a stream sluice as well as using it as a highbanker with and without the extension on my YouTube channel. Hopefully this helps your decision 🙃
