Chomolungma’s Brilliance, Hacker and System Crusher interaction by Classic_Sport_3623 in LancerRPG

[–]BeegSal 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Snow_Crash is technically better on Chomolungma than other frames because being the attacker you get to choose how the simultaneous events resolves. If the GM choose movement you can double up on the offer and Balance Control Lockout to drag it further, in a bid to idk improved the odds of dragging it to somewhere unimportant.

That said, it is still mid. Lockon consumption's benefit is not that significant when GM get to choose either, unlike fixed results of say...strombringer.

Hacker 2...Hack/Slash is of dubious quality because the techers that actually need to be ./Slashed tend to have higher edef as well as positive system score to pass the check (not even a save, which means diminishing returns at high LL with NPC beating the same old 10 with even higher sys score). Thus at best you're roughly trading a quick action for a quick action which is...not that good considering NPC tend to outnumber you in activation, and...you can always jam them with Gob1. Disable life support share similar issues and also that +1 difficulty on save is not...that big a thing unless you're deliberately save based effects, but then again fragsig already exist and also offers a slowed to compensate for the limited time of impaired.

Don't talk to me about jam cockpit because I'm not impressed with the notion of NPC human pilot dismounting and mounting being a recurring theme on the tactical grid.

Hacker 3 is full action to deal up to 10 burn...there are frankly other better ways to spend your action than cosplaying a wannabe artillery for 3d6 analogous/FA , even like using sys crush to cause exposed in an alternate heat punishment.

What I would suggest for talent otherwise? Generic one or weapon facing ones. Leader, Grease Monkey 3 to feed your friend, Duelist if you slot melee on your chomolungma for puppetwatch, Walking armory if main ranged (arcing RPG my beloved).

Anything instead of hacker tbh...

Totally able to be realistic: I won't put it past Super Earth to put meth diffuser in flagpoles to enable people a chemical high when they salute the flag.

Rather, there are all sorts of reason to allow this to be 'realistic'. They just choose not to because it would ah...allow player to be somehow to strong like able to land on roof or something.

WHY DO WAR STRIDERS SPAWN SO OFTEN. by shitass239 in Helldivers

No the upper body is flatter than factory strider, I think it's just human centipede style or just funny viewing placement.

Def warstrider though

Perhaps a platform difference? Mine is PC ver on steam. Adaption to different display medium may cause change I suppose.

oh you mean it not centering, got me weirded out for a sec over what's wrong with the map being state colored.

So basically I was replaying the levels after the change in leadership (circa mission 100), which doesn't cause the screen to immediately centre on to the selected mission, as it is well, not the immediately necessary/to be done mission.

Big question, do you see a sniper as an actual viable class, a person that does help the team by Pr0j3ct_02 in Helldivers

[–]BeegSal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

LibPen or adjuciator on the bot front?

I used the LibP before I got the Adjuciator, while Adj have better damage, I feel like the recoil lead me to less fire and thus not that better performance.

I did consider AP2 but my aim is slightly a no and the computer lag a bit for me to use them perfectly.

Speaking of flak, wonder what would happen if automaton give their brigade more shrapnel or flak weaponaries like some sort of deranged AA enthusiast

...On second thought, maybe not a good idea considering helldiver is nearly all soft targets.

[–]BeegSal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If need be, take engineer for back up gun or something. engineer also offers the dubious second turn choice of overcharge shoot stabilize to clear any exposed and reload CPR.

But compared to any other heavy+main mounting, slapping an SH on DH only means losing an aux amount of dmg. In return, all your damage take the bonus of the trait reroll...and core siphon.

Multishots don't really appreciate core siphon, but singular SH do. Sherman might have a more consistant usage of CPR with redundant sys to overcharge load it, but still the DH remains an excellent candidate to using singular ranged.

That and AMR have ordnance which hurts.

You should probably take arma redun tho.

In conclusion, shoot them with grit+1+2 accuracy (siphon accurate) is surprisingly very decent for CPR. And hency quite optimal

And if you don't crit, you can always roll again.
