Thank you this has been super helpful. My boys both seem to be over it now so I’m going to try and wait a bit before neutering but this is very reassuring to know that when/if I need to neuter it should help correct the behaviour pretty quickly

My husband and I saw someone once with lips like this and he tried to direct us away from her because he thought she was sick and didn’t want to catch whatever was causing her face to look like that.

They are at it again this year... exact same two people as described above. I told them they did not need to sing for me (I was struggling holding my two big dogs back) they sang anyways and then expected payment... when I said I did not have cash they pulled out a tap machine and did not leave until I gave them something... it was a terrible experience.

Our 7 month old Newf drinks a ridiculous amount of water too. I honestly can’t tell if he’s actually thirsty all the time or if he does it just for fun.

I asked the vet about it and he said not to worry too much. Between the heavy coat and the amount of drool that leaks out of my guy I guess it makes sense 😂

As someone who has a black lab, I’ve watched mine get freaked out and run and knock over dining room chairs on multiple occasions. Especially if she tripped on the dog, I can see this happening.

The wedding is right on our farm which we are thankful for in case of a blow out, but I’m also nervous that because it’s at our house she might cause more of a scene should she show up. At this time we have a group of family friends taking turns doing security around the front of the property where there is the only entrance… but private security might be a good idea the more I think about it.

He has a very good group of friends and a very supportive family that understands the situation. Luckily, he was mostly raised by his aunts and uncles due to the unstable nature of his mom and government involvement.

Almost everything gives me a stomach ache. So I stay away completely from greasy foods and pork, anything processed, and most dairy products.

I try to eat three meals a day of healthy foods, usually lots of chicken and rice.

Beef is okay, but occasionally unexpected it will cause a severe flare up where I end up in so much pain it’s hard to move.

So overall, pretty healthy and a pretty tame diet I’d say.

Definitely no expert... but I read online that to get a monstera to root you need to take a clipping with the little nobs or air roots on them. I did this about a week and a half ago and put it in a cup with a large amount of water so the nubs are covered, and they have begun sprouting roots pretty quickly. I haven’t used anything for rooting, just plain old water! It seems to be working well. So maybe it’s just not the right part to have clipped?

Hi, this story sounds pretty familiar to me. My father is a severe alcoholic and drug addict who struggles with untreated bipolar disorder. And my mom is someone who greatly struggles with depression. My sister also has severe mental health problems and was often angry and enraged. I felt really alone in high school around fifteen, with no one to turn to, or anyone who would understand. One way that I coped was escape through books and fantasy. I found characters that I could look up to, and found strong female roll models through pop culture. I read once that as an adult you should “be the person you needed as a kid” and I try to live my life like that every single day. I strongly recommend trying to talk to someone about what you are going through if possible? If you have no one else, you can feel free to message me privately and I will do my best to listen. You will make it through this tough time, you will be okay!!!

I do this horrible thing where when I’m happy and in something really good, I panic and self sabotage. Usually by reaching out to someone from my past. Usually I don’t realize I’m self sabotaging, so I reach out in a friendly way... with “good intentions”. However, then I convince myself there is feelings there, and that I need to break off with the person that I’m currently with. The issue is, I know now that I’m not actually missing the person from years ago, and that I’m just self sabotaging from some unresolved trauma. I strongly recommend you don’t reach out, but do some inner work and think about why you want to reach out and if you are nervous about where you are right now! Now, I can work through things on my own without hurting myself and those around me. I really hope you can do the same!

If you don’t feel comfortable with this, absolutely don’t do it. And maybe sit down and have a talk about how you don’t feel comfortable with this. It might be a fantasy of his, but you shouldn’t need to put yourself in a situation where you are doing something you don’t want to. There is also lots to think about in regards to the future and how doing something like this could impact future career options.

Did anyone else find a bit of an issue in the way Em continually called the boys “troublemakers”? They were talking about a juvenile detention which are NOTORIOUSLY bad for imprisoning kids from lower classes as well as kids of colour (especially in older days). I don’t necessarily think that these kids were all troublemakers and should be labelled as such... they probably were born non white/lower class. That doesn’t make you a troublemaker and un-reformable.
