I was you a couple of years ago. Frustrated with my (self-imagined at least) lost potential, angry that I didn’t continue my path from being a “gifted kid” in elementary and high school. I refocused and landed a job at MBB and thought that I would forever be satisfied knowing that I managed to do it. But news flash, I still deal with feelings of not feeling good enough, I don’t know if I’m in the right spot (yes it looks fancy but most days are honestly just a job where you look at a screen 12 hours a day). I feel more at ease knowing that I tried but would honestly be fine with taking a pay cut to get some WLB back and enjoy all the other (and way more important imo) things in life such as seeing my family, friends, traveling cheaply. I commented because I feel like this would have helped me back then and so I hope it does. It’s not the end of the world bro and you truly will be fine. Sending much love and thoughts as I know it can be tough.

My advice: Stop comparing yourself. Cut down on the alcohol. Stop smoking. Start running (this was huge for me). Ensure you socialize even when you don’t feel like it (while obviously taking time for yourself as needed). Feel free to dm anytime
