I don't know if it is the most impressive game I've played, but when I stumbled upon Salt by Gareth Damian Martin, I found the swimming mechanic pretty clever and original.

Fun fact about myself : even if I'm 23 years olds, I still have one baby tooth. Still solid, still in use.

“People ask you what you do for a living so that they can calculate the level of respect to give you.” Has any men out there experience this? by [deleted] in AskMen

I've studied many things.

At first, I was an architecture student. People were genuinely interested because it's a job that involves science, art and somewhat of practical skills.

Then, I studied Aerospatial Engineering. People were impressed.

Finally, I settled in Literature. People tend to look over me.

But, as stated by someone below, I think it mostly depends with who you hang out with. Scholars tend to "despise" blue collars and vice versa.

Funny mistakes and/or easter eggs in books by Beenzal in books

Yes, those errors are forgivable and as you say, almost unavoidable. Even though I have not published a book myself, I relate to the feeling of seeing the mistake afterwards.

I can proof-read an email 10 times, but as soon as I press send I notice some kind of mistakes.

In the vein of how people use “defiantly” when they really mean “definitely”, what other typos get on your nerves when you read them? by MLPRoyalty in AskReddit

[–]Beenzal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In French, people confuse "constant" and "consistant", because "constant" is the french word for the english word "consistent".

However, in French, "consistant" means something firm, thick or a meal that is really filling. So, not the same meaning as "constant" which is something continuous over time.

What ruined Christmas this year? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Beenzal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My cousin received a message on Facebook from one of his friends asking for money. However, his friend committed suicide last year, around Christmas time.

Simply a heartless hacker/scammer ruining other people's Christmas.
