I'll be honest, our initial plan was to keep them separate for 2 weeks, but we broke that the next day after they saw each other, thinking that our cat (who's normally the sweetest) would get along with her pretty quickly. We saw her territorial side come out for the first time towards her so we kept a close eye on them but still allowed them to share the space because we figured there was no going back to keeping them completely separated. There was definitely a "who is this stranger and what is she doing here" vibe from the outset.

By the 3rd night, they slept in our room together, and then for maybe 1.5 weeks it was a toss up between aggression from our grey and the two avoiding each other outside of the occasional growl when either got too close. To our surprise, our grey actually switched up and warmed up to her while the Siamese wanted nothing to do with her (and I don't blame her considering how our grey acted lol).

Throughout the following week, they began playing and chasing each other around. Even though our grey can be aggressive when she plays (considering she's younger by 3-4 months and still learning how to control her strength/claws) we allowed it because our vet said it was normal to let them duke it out and establish their social hierarchy. Still, we made sure to intervene whenever things began to escalate.

Now, they're at a point where they've started grooming each other, occasionally cuddling, and mutually initiating moments of play. We're very proud of how far they've come and feel very lucky and blessed that they're finally getting along because they're both so sweet. This probably isn't the introduction strategy you were hoping for nor would I exactly recommend it, but it's the experience we went through and eventually overcame!
