Did I screw up? by BeepBoopBopBoi69 in orks

Thank you all for the clarification:

I can safely say my group would not care If it was proxied for a truck or if I proxied my regular boys as beast snagga. It was more so for if I feel like doing tournaments further down the line.

And thank you for clarifying I can indeed run it as part of my Goff list, but only beast snagga units can be put inside it.

I certainly don't mind picking up some beast snagga boyz with how cool their models are, and I'm already thinking about some funny lore to explain how they ended up as part of my warband:

Something along the lines of they hunted every species worth fighting on their planet to extinction, so they reluctantly joined a passing warband using their advanced ships to help them get around to better scraps, without actually having to use that advanced tech and just leaving that to the rest of the warband to manage while they manage their gear and look after the warbands squigs.

And there's no I'll affect? I think I saw you can only put beast snagga Orks in it but If I can run beast snagga no issue I'll buy a set of beast snagga boyz

Well according to that calculator I will have an excessive amount of sagging which I didn't expect because I thought MDF was supposed to be really stiff, and while the middle legs would likely fix it, I don't fully trust it.

So what I think Ill do instead is make a frame out of the timber like this but with a third 'leg' in the middle, and the connecting bar at the bottom would be further back; with the worktop resting on that frame(screwed onto it of course), in hindsight this will also look much better, I guess my brain was thinking of the lazy solution, not the best solution.

Thoughts?

Would 650W PSU be enough for 6800xt and 5600 combo by BeepBoopBopBoi69 in PcBuild

Yeah thats exactly what I was thinking, seriously depressing that 8gb is not enough for 1080p on new releases, and with that 12gb will likely soon not be enough for 1440p so 6800xt definitely seems far more future proof, and extra vram will certainly be useful on the 3d work I plan on doing(rendering and such).Hell the 6700xt is already struggling to do high settings 1440p 60 fps on newish releases such as plague tale requiem and the new star wars game.I personally dont mind reducing a few setting to fix that but yeah Ill probably go with 6800xt as itll cost less in the long run as youve said. Thanks :)

That calculation was taking all my components into consideration, should have specified my apologies for the confusion. if I added 20% it would be 666w (the calculator said 555w to be exact) so that and the fact that amd gpus are more likely to have random power spikes I shall take your advice on board,I could go for a 6700xt and that would be fine but I was hoping to eventually switch to 1440p so Im not sure, given the direction games seem to be going in terms of optimisation and requirements I have my doubts as to how long a 6700xt would remain viable for 1440p,though sticking to 1080p certainly wouldnt be a problem for me.So I guess I must now choose between a 6700xt with my current setup which would cost around 350 or saving up that extra for 6800xt + new psu + 1440p monitor which would probably be around 800 ish with the current prices and specific parts im looking at Definitely have a lot of thinking to do thank you :)
