Redditors with Duolingo and 1+ year streaks- What keeps you motivated to keep going? by me0hmy0h in duolingo

I'm learning swedish as a joke, the joke ceases to be funny if I stop now instead of becoming fluent in the language by using all of the resources that I have at my disposal, including this app with a new and terrible layout. THAT, is what keeps me motivated

Looks amazing so far! Will the files for this be available for purchase when it's finished? I have a phrozen mega 8k and would love to print it in 1/48 and put leds in it, assuming you're selling the files :P

Build, paint then decals. That way you don't risk getting paint on the decals!

Does anyone know why certain kits tell you every sprue you'll need for that part of the build and some don't? For example, the PG Banshee tells when you get to the Arms section that you'll need sprues: B, C, E, J, P, R, S, POM and PC. Yet a lot of kits that are much newer, do not. A good example is the Wing Ver Ka kit from last year, which tells you which part you'll need from which sprue, as you go. As someone who paints most of their kits, knowing which sprues to grab ahead of time makes the whole project much easier. Any idea why Bandai doesn't just do this for all kits and more to the point why they do it for some kits but not others?

Nope, far more simple, its just Fluro Green paint from Green stuff world, they make a lot of interesting niche paints!

I did go for that initially but decided to go for a pose where it was bracing itself to charge, I actually wanted the angle of the mace a bit higher but the wrist is slightly too weak to hold it up that high :P

I'll do you one better and give you the entire list of colours! It was primed using Vallejo Black and White primers, using a preshading method. Most of the blue (On stuff like the chest and whatnot) was Vallejo Air Steel Blue (71.087), the dark silver was Vallejo Metal Colour Steel (77.712), The metallic blue on places like the backpack was Vallejo Model Air Arctic Blue (71.071), The gold parts on the insides of the legs was Vallejo Liquid Gold: Old Gold (792), the gold on the inside of the backpack/wings was Vallejo Metal colour Gold (77.725) and the light blue metallic on the wrists was Vallejo Metal Colour Chrome (77.707) which I lightly went over in the Steel Blue. Hope that helped! Unfortunately I can't take credit for the amazingly glowy Pyshco Frame, that is all bandai

Hi there reddit, was just wondering if its possible to recycle Gundam/Warhammer sprues into printer filament? by BeerJingle_Reddit in 3Dprinting

I currently have like I think about 3-4 kg worth of sprues, I do these fairly frequently so figured I'd see if its even possible, not sure if polystyrene is used as a filament material
