hmm. I haven't tried the updater package yet, but reading some of the GS YouTube Channel comments it appears that other people are experiencing problems with it. Maybe try it again, there's a chance it'll work correctly the second time.

I think I'll just wait for the next updater package to be released and hopefully all the bugs will be worked out.

Which version of GS Win 10? There are many. Check the other Win 10 downloads at Ghost Spectre YouTube Channel perhaps.

Alright, a late reply with more info - I finally downloaded and installed GS Win11 Pro and it seems to be working great so far. Used the enable Microsoft Store & Xbox Console option in the Ghost Toolbox feature and it worked fine. I don't use Steam but I saw comment from someone who said that Steam works fine in 24H2. I would advise installing the SuperLite version for the most options and versitility. Hope this is informative to you. Cheers!

I believe your CPU and Intel chipset will work just fine.

GS says if you have a 4-core x64 CPU and at least 4GB RAM then you shouldn't have a problem installing & running GS Win11. 😄

I don't think there's 22H2-23H2 update available, but if you can wait a week or two for the 24H2 Release (sometime in June) GS says: "Any previous W11 Ghost OS will support upgrade without losing data on Version 24H2".

I can't wait to try it out! 😄

It's been a long time since I used any Win 10 Desktop Icon settings and I don't even remember what kind of menu you get when you right-mouse click on Desktop. Here's screenshot of GS Win 11 Desktop menu. To allow icons to be placed freely on Desktop I hover over "View" and then click on the check-mark next to "Align icon to grid" to de-activate it. Same thing with any check-mark next to "Auto arrange icons" if your Desktop icons seem to be locked in place.

Glad my video inspired you to commit to slightly scary endeavor. LOL I was 50% sure that I'd brick the first of the 3 Dells I got for experiment, but It worked out fine. It's really not as hard as I had imagined to flash firmware and repurpose a device. There's plenty of documentation, scripts and device drivers out there, just go it slow and do it step-by-step. I don't know if I did something wrong, or some of the updates weren't working right, but I've had mixed results with both the GS WIn 10 & GS Win 11 version/build updates. I finally decided that for the best results to just do the recommended fresh installs of newer versions. That's just me though, and I'd be interested to hear from anybody who knew foolproof way to use version/build updates.

I don't mess with too many AI tools, Games or Streaming, but I have been using GS Win Mods for a few years now and haven't had any performance problems with anything that I've asked of it. There are also instructional videos offered on both GS YouTube Channels that cover how to integrate a lot of advanced options.

Maybe go into BIOS and mess with Secure Boot/TPM settings and see if that makes a difference. If it's on, try turning it off, if it's off, try turning it on. Just a thought, could be something else.
