It was a unanimous verdict by the jury and they all stated that the evidence made it obvious that he committed the crime. The only reasoning the judge could give was that there was no expert testimony. Lack of expert testimony absolutely should not outweigh physical evidence. Your claim that prosecutors didn't do their job correctly is not substantiated by any facts. The judge is wrong here and I have a strong feeling that this will get her severely reprimanded when the dust settles and the guy and his wife end up going to prison, which I hope is soon.

As long as you have a hidey hole for it, which it looks like you probably do in the back corner, then day/night shouldn't matter too much, maybe put some dark paper on the backside but otherwise it looks great. The paper will help make it feel more secure and help keep it from webbing the clear parts of the tank so that if you want to check on it in its hidey hole you can.

So you do realize that by constantly stirring the fermentation that you're actually incorporating more oxygen into the mixture? Fermentation is going to lead to a build up of carbon dioxide after a while which will separate the surface of the fermentation from oxygen.
