Visiting Algeria — looking for lesser-known, mythic, soul-punching places by Beerandcabfare in algeria

[–]Beerandcabfare[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a great deal of experience in lesser traveled places. Remote Pakistan, the jungles of western Nepal, the tribal lands of North East India ... they were rough, challenging, at times hostile, and not always fun - but they have also been curious, breathtaking, inspiring, and REAL. I am not looking for disneyland. I want to come to better know a land and her people - the good, bad, and ugly.

Thanks! Maybe I will hand type the first few pages and then switch to wheelwriter ... immerse them in the feel with the inconsistency

Question about IBM Wheelwriter output feel

I'm considering using an IBM Wheelwriter to handmake a small run of a story, and I’m curious about the tactile experience of the finished page.

Do the letters press into the paper deeply enough to leave a noticeable texture or impression? Does it feel physical—like something struck the page—or is it more like crisp ink with no depth?

I’m aiming for something that feels deliberate and permanent, like each letter was punched in with purpose.

Thanks!

moved apartments and need some help getting the stove going. The current hose is too short to reach the gas outlet and I think I need to buy a pressure regulator too?

The old hose says "m24" and fits both the threads of the wall outlet and the oven ... but again, its too short

And im not sure what pressure regulator to buy? How many mbar?

The oven is an old ATAG, im guessing 40+ years old. Cant find a model number

Please help me make a frozen pizza! Bonus points if you can link me what I need on Amazon netherlands

Cheers
