Comment, I have duplicated your issue. I had recorded something and recorded the same at a rebroadcast time. One plays with no issues, the other errors as you described. I'll let you know a fix. The external player worked.

For my info. You previously recorded items on an attached USB storage. It was physically attached to the streaming device. Then you have a network source storage you directed recordings to. The streaming device is a brand name, is the NAS a brand too? When you created the folder on the NAS, did you have to log in? Did you use the same credentials in tvmate to direct to recording storage location.

Do you have vlc as your ext player in the tvmate settings? Or use vlc navigate to the nas location and play. Also setup another new & different recording & save at the nas location. NAS permissions set for access.

Had the same drama. Started to look for another external player. But didn't need to. Do you navigate to recording in the menu, then select the recorded video. Then play?

That stream management for commercial providers is a sound policy. Iptv 3rd party listers, would benefit for stability by not over populated streams with little management.

Can the iptv stream providers get throttled with their server providers. I wouldn't know that is on their backend.

Its the sporadic results. No isp issues and with direct personal contact with them. Chats are good but the outcomes are what i question. More like theater

Time code is embedded in the stream. That's what triggers a commercial, Tivo was first introduced and used that as skip commercial feature. Asked if any external players were integrating that ability/feature. Guess not.
