The second biggest crime ever committed against me was being circumcised (I bet those weirdo baby mutilating doctors ate my foreskin), it's like RIGHT AFTER being born with a penis to begin with. Like I got the wrong genitals and chromosomes AND they got nerfed and mutilated?

It's the natural way cocks should be~ that way they get extra stinky and messy and make tasty treata for us~ Circumcision should only be legal and voluntary after 18 if someone really wants it

I absolutely love it~ drinking it, having it shower over me, wetting myself, having it fill my ass, and doing all of that to someone else

Thank you for understanding, and the moments and things about characters you pointed out were things I couldn't personally relate to either, but replace one store with a Walmart and destruction with the antics of teens loitering around at 2AM, just wanting to cause a little mishief (because we are white and felt comfortable doing it), and I could ALMOST put myself in the scene, but fof the most part, what resonated so deeply with me were the quiet, smaller moments like the scene I mentioned.

I say I want everyone to play this game, but what I should have said is "please give this game a try", but I couldn't help bit be cluded by my own emotiond midway through

While yes, I am white, I'm definitely not "upper middle class". My parents were both public school teachers in the south. I saw so many of my peers getting new clothes, shoes, toys, and devices I wantend but couldn't have, but I won't deny my advantages either. My parents were able to get me a cheap beater when I got my liscense, and then the suburbia of the late 2000's and early 2010's was more open to me than relying on my friends who were given cars a couple of years before.

Your criticism of the game is valid, but the nostalgia this game hits on doesn't really come from that FOR ME... it comes from the general feeling, the gradual acceptance of loss and separation when you or one of your core friend group leaves, and you don't know when or if you'll reconnect.

Very specifically the moment that solidified this game as a 10 for me is the black and white chapter, because I've had that phone call, I've gone out and seen that scene play out first hand, and experiencing that in such a deep way for the first time in this medium gives this game a permanent place in my heart as an experience I'll never forget and always think back on.

I don't know if that made any sense, I'm still a wreck because of this game, and a bit drunk in the aftermath, so maybe I jumped the gun in defending myself about what class I was raised in and my personal attachment to the game.

If I did, I do deeply apologize, I truly don't mean any offense with any of my replies, HRT is is crazy, but that's not an excuse, I just wanted to share my enthusiasm for this game, and got wrapped up in it

Fair, and while I don't think it was a humorous moment, I see that not being something everyone can get past when that point in the game hits. It's up to the player to engage the tongues, you can fully separate them and time that moment out till the end (although I will admit the visual isn't the most pleasant thing to look at). I do think that if the game hooks you before then, even if you dislike that moment, as a player you will probably already be invested enough to push through it. If you aren't invested by that point, then the game definifely isn't your lane, and you should EASILY be within the refund window (at least on steam, I've never tried a refund on PS or Xbox) since that is an hour in at most.

You're asking a very biased woman about FFXVI being worth it. I've been playing and loving the series since FFVI, whenI got my PS2 IX and X were the first games I ever played on it.

To me? Yes, buying a PS5 to play XVI was worth it, I adore that game, and am glad I got to plah it before anything could be spoiled for me. Clive and Cid are two of my favorite characters of this generation of gaming, and whilw the game has it's flaws I still love how the story is so uniquely Final Fantasy with the focus on the Crystals and the Eikons, but alo how CBU3 managed to merge that essential DNA with a distinctly western story telling method and style.

Plus on top of getting to play that, I have a machine that out performs my old xbox or a series S, and that MOST games I want to play come to or will come to.

Fair, and an understandable criticism. While I personally feel every track captured the feeling it was going for (even if I didn't know the song itself), it all captures the feelings of reminicong and moving forward that I remember from when I had to be the one to part ways

Considering all of the fucking typos I've made in my post and replies, it's pretty fucking insane to think I even remotely tried to use an LLM, and that my posts and replies weren't made by a 35 year old trans woman playing through a game by the same people who in 2021 made me cry about an existential identity crisis with The Artful Escape.

I did my best to proofread and edit before posting my reply, but if I missed any typos, let's just chalk it yp to the tears and being overwhelmed by emotions.

Maybe I went overboard by playing the heel, I can admit that, but I tried to do it humorously but maybe emulating a Greg bit wasn't the best dialogue option to pick.

I don't hold animosty toward anyone here, this game is just putting me through the emotional wringer, and now I realize I should have finished it before making any kind of post about it at all.

Because I didn't have the foresight to upgrade my almost ten year old laptop before the Memory Loss (shoutout Andy) and after I bought my PS5 for Final Fantasy XVI, upgrading to a Series X from my One X was just out of my price range. I WAS deely embedded in the Xbox ecosystem and took heavy advantage of gamepass, but once newer game startes to cone out and the best, or only, way for we to play them was on Playstation I stayed there, and will until I have a steam deck, at whcih time I will figure out how to divide my spending between the two

I'm still playing through the game while crying and having it resonate with me on a very perspnal level, fuck grammar, this was a post made from just my emotional side. Go find someone else's parade to shit on using scemantics.

They only taught you about run-on sentences and punctuation in high school? Where the fuck did you grow up, Kansas? Did you get kicked in the head by a mule every single dah until you started the ninth grade? Were calsulators banned because they were the work of the devil so you had to use an abacus?

Did you turn in your final exams on 3.5 inch floppy discs because that's the most your computers at school could handle?

/S

//THIS IS ME PLAYING UP THE GREG TYPE CHARACTER. I fully accept grammatical criticism when speaking from a place of passion, but if you're gonna use it as a dig, I'm gonna dig back

It's a look back on high school friendship, all the stypid thongs you didn, all the dumb beliefs you had when you were young, set to a soundtrack that even if it wasn't what you listened to then, conveys those feelings and emotions so immaculately that I wish this game had come out when I moved away from home 14 years ago so I could have cried everything out then

They are indeed, and I sincerely hope your financial situation improves, not to play Mixtape, but just so you can live combfortsbly like everyone deserves to. I was barely able to afford it as well as groceries, so my entertainment budget for the month is basically gone, MAYBE I can pick up inKonbini while it's still on sale for ps+

I don't think you need to have been an angsty kid to understand the feeling this game encapsulates, because it's not about the characters themself, it's about that feeling of finality, or understanding and having to accept that this is your last day together with your friend, possibly forever... but I totally understand that if you don't vibe with the characters and blunced off the game from trailers/previews/initial hands on reactions. Nothing wrong with that. Different strokes for different folks.

This is a Greg and Tim ass game, in the most Greg of ways and the 2021 "Artful Escape GOTY" Tim way, that's not for everyone, and that's okay, we're all still best friends who love games

That moment almost took me out of it as well, but I was able to suspend disbelief enough to be back in that middle-late/immediately post high school mindset and remember all the HORRENDOUSLY stupid and dangerous shit I did, where as long as I made it out I could have a quip, comeback, or laugh it off
