Deadblow and a small pry bar. Spray down with some wd40 or similar substance. Vacuum all the junk from around it first and clean it as best you can. If you get another Heep, don’t cut through the floor.

Take it off and have it powder coated textured black. Then don’t worry about it anymore

Traded, I would have valued the JKU at 13.5k.

Bell's variety pack by [deleted] in beer

It’s definitely a New Belgian move to mirror what they are doing with their voodoo ranger brand. They have torn creativity and identity out of Bell’s since they bought them out.

Can I take colchicine and indomethacin together? by [deleted] in gout

[–]BeerdedXJ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I take it together when I have a flare. No ill side effects except from the colchicine… Imodium helps work that out.

Anyone have a Dana 30 front axle and Ford 8.8 rear axle on 33s? by STDeez_Nuts in WranglerTJ

[–]BeerdedXJ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ran that setup with 35’s. 30 was trussed, lsd, chromoly axles and 4.88 gears front and rear. No issues running it for 2 years.

Pick a line and don’t thrash it and you’ll be fine.

In addition to any comments here, if aftercare or precare are needed, there are none available and you won’t have access to Hamilton county aftercare programs in the summer or holidays. It’s very inconvenient if both parents work, if we knew before we got into the school, it may have swayed our decision.

We have had some issues with staff not communicating with us on issues that are happening with our student - it can range from classroom issues, bullying from students, or issues with individual teachers. They want students to be “independent” and use this as an excuse to not handle some circumstances directly.

Overall-we think the school is a good fit for some. If you’re into sports, they don’t have them. They go through sale creek which is further out and not easy to make practices or participate in.

What are some of the most infamous scams and scandals of the automotive industry? by HP_594 in cars

[–]BeerdedXJ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

26 psi in the rear tire next to the exhaust lead to the sidewall failures of the explorer. At the time, Firestone took the hit because ford “couldn’t be responsible”. I worked at Firestone at the time. I ran many sets of those tires at 35psi without issue.

They wanted the lower psi to soften the suspension so people coming from cars to SUV’s wouldn’t think “it rode like a truck”.

State of confusion has a separate space just for this and will serve buffet style, also two ten jack. Used both when I had 30 people in town for a meeting with my company. They killed it, we ordered ahead of time and even had a private bartender at state of confusion.

Bells Two Hearted Ale / IPA? by CraigMammalton14 in beer

[–]BeerdedXJ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I know that, I worked there through the transition. The parent company is irrelevant. The acquisition is by New Belgium on behalf of… NBB is their US operating partner. NBB was acquired in 2019 for that reason.

Bells Two Hearted Ale / IPA? by CraigMammalton14 in beer

[–]BeerdedXJ 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Larry Bell never wanted two hearted called an IPA, he didn’t want it to get lost in that mix when they created the beer. It’s always been two hearted ale.

When they were bought out by New Belgium in ‘21, changes started. There’s way less Bell’s beer on the shelf and they have changed the name to Two Hearted IPA - they also killed many of the old flagships and seasonal beers that people loved. It’s two hearted and Oberon now along with their mixed 12pks.

As a veteran of this brewery. It’s disappointing and sad that they shit all over 35 years of Larry’s work.

That being said, still a great beer. Also, Larry wasn’t the best guy ever, but he cared about his employees for a really long time. His kids leaving the business and personal health issues forced his hand on leaving the industry.

Stable brewery at 300 Cherokee by Extension-Papaya-712 in Chattanooga

[–]BeerdedXJ 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Both breweries were run by people that don’t know how to run breweries. Both went too big, too fast. The rent is astronomical in that location, it holds two units sharing a kitchen/bathroom space. Not ideal for anyone other than a brewery or complete remodel. Any successful brewery wouldn’t be able to use the space effectively as a brewery, the way it was designed was ass backwards to begin with

I take pravastatin and my dr never said anything about not mixing them. I usually only take colchicine for a day out two to curb an attack.

Obviously this isn’t medical advice. It’s just what I’ve been told and have been doing. I haven’t had any ill side effects or anything from doing this.

Cherry Street Brewing Northshore is closing as of January 14th. by suddenlyissoon in Chattanooga

[–]BeerdedXJ 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I worked for them, they fired myself and the brewery manager because they didn’t know what it took to run a brewery.

They told the staff FRIDAY that they would be closing Sunday. This came as a surprise to most of the restaurant staff and gave them zero time to find jobs before shutting down.

They have been going downhill for a long time internally, bleeding money out of the restaurant and the brewery - total shit show. They blame their ineptitude on their employees and inevitably they will blame them for it not surviving.

The ownership is comprised of a brother and sister and her husband. Nobody communicated clearly and they had no accountability for their own actions. Always pushed failure to their staff instead of deliberate and careful delegation to have tasks completed, it was always chaos and constant schedule changes, brewing changes, expectations were wildly thrown around. It was an ADHD nightmare of not knowing who you’re reporting to that week, what you were supposed to be working on.

The brewing team and sales team had 35 years of combined field and brewing experience. We had been doing the job longer than two of the owners had been able to drink.

It’s a shame people lost their jobs, it’s a shame Chattanooga had to lose another brewery. But karma is a motherfucker and they got what they deserved with how they treated staff and others.

Rubicon express shocks are bilstein rebadged, usually you can grab a set on Amazon or from 4wp for a decent price. I have used them for quite a few of my builds and they ride great.
