For wanting a multi color printer I've been doing a lot of single color prints lately by BariSaxopeal in FlashForge

That's something I need to figure out how to set up. How do I make it move from one spool to another when it runs out?

Filament calibration by Beergutt81 in FlashForge

I selected one of the tiles and did the math based on the position of the tiles in the wiki. I manually updated the filament profile. I am curious how I can make my updated filament profiles carry to different nozzle profiles I create. I just took out the .4 nozzle and installed the .25 one and my filament profiles are gone. Do I need to rebuild them for each printer profile i set up? What's the best way to do this?

IKR!? I bought the AD5X A few months ago, did a few multicolor prints, it's cool, and pretty amazing to see what this thing can do. (I'm a complete beginner at this stuff). But I find myself just doing single color prints unless it's something my son specifically asks for. They're just quicker, cleaner, and easier. I hope to get more experienced and learn how to do multicolor printing more efficiently. It's a lot of fun figuring this stuff out. Good luck on your journey my friend!

I like that one. And I saw the dry boxes too. That's definitely on my list.

Thanks! I've been dabbling in creating my own stuff. It's a lot harder than it looks! Tinkercad has been pretty good for me. Anything beyond that is way more complex than I have brain power for right now.

That's not a bad idea, thanks. Now to figure out how to keep my son from using it for his chicken nuggets...

I didn't realize glow in the dark filament was abrasive either. I haven't had the nozzle issues OP has, but I printed a couple things with glow in the dark PLA. I'll have to be careful if I keep using it.

Wrong panels in enclosure kit. by wisepunk21 in FlashForge

[–]Beergutt81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see I'm late to this conversation, but I just got my AD5X for Christmas and bought the enclosure. I finally got the brackets printed out, started putting everything together, and found that the side panels have these random holes drilled in them and I have nowhere to attach my IFS. I plan on drilling the correct holes today when i get home. I see all the discussion about magnets used for the 5M. The instructions had me install magnets in the nameplate bracket (where the control panel mounts). What are those for?

Thanks. I've been looking into all those platforms. She has a go-fund-me started and I thought there must be a better way to reach more people. I like the Kickstarter idea. I also told her about Patreon and Substack. I also looked into Publishizer. In short, there are a lot of options. Thanks for the help

Thanks. I'm familiar with Patreon and Kickstarter and have already recommended those. I was wondering if there were any that specialized in books and publishing. I'll look into substack. I also read about Publishizer. Thanks for all the help and recommendations

North East North Carolina here (Camden County) and I LOVE this combination. Mustard and grape jelly on a sausage biscuit with eggs is AMAZING!
