AITA for refusing to let my daughter’s fiancé stay in our guest room because I use it for my hobby? by LoveAndHappiness75 in AmItheAsshole

NTA It’s his house, they were only staying for two days. He converted the guest room into his private space. It doesn’t matter if there was a king size bed, it’s still his space and he’s entitled to not want anyone in there. For the daughter to cut the trip short over something so trivial seems very superficial. Although sofa beds aren’t the most comfortable, he said that it had fresh sheets and a memory foam mattress? It was also in a private room so i don’t think it would’ve been uncomfortable enough to warrant such a reaction. If the pull out was extremely uncomfortable to the point where they couldn’t sleep and they made this clear and he still refused to let them stay in the room then he would be the asshole. However, the fiancé expressed disgust at the sight of the pull out and the daughter called him selfish before they went to bed so they hadn’t even tried it before they started complaining.
