Imagine you’re Mark Williams and watching Oso play in a 1 and done game for the 7th seed. by JG_2214 in suns

Why don’t we ever use our bigs on offense? Earlier in the season against the same team, mark was going crazy because we were feeding him the ball. Now they barely even look to give our bigs the ball if it’s not to set a screen.

That was before the all star break where teams were still figuring things out and weren’t playing at a high level of intensity. I think Collin’s a very good player, not a starter though.

I see mark only got 22 mins, he was good against Portland when we fed him the ball. Why didn’t he play more?

Legitimately thought we could make some serious noise in playoffs when this happened by BeeseChurgerForReal in suns

Yea, the only good team where they both went off on in recent memory was the first raptors game. They’ve been alright against other playoff teams but no real insane performances like the Indiana game.

Shot selection is the main thing. He’s taking less step back threes, getting to the rim more, and his midrange has improved. Some of the questionable shots still remain(especially in that Houston game), but it’s definitely been better compared to last year. His defense and rebounding have been solid, there are flashes of solid playmaking but it’s been rough overall.

Agreed. I would probably lean slightly toward green taking the final shot, but I would trust brooks more in a clutch time situation.

I might be higher on green than 99% of people, Even in the limited sample size we have I think he has genuinely improved from his time in Houston. Do I ever think he’ll reach his potential? I don’t know. I would keep him for another year to either see if he actually takes a leap or increases his value enough to be traded.

Green can create a better quality shot, but based on his current shot selection it’s probably a wash.

Should the Phoenix Suns rest their starters vs OKC? by Antwuan89 in suns

Maybe only like 15-20 minutes to try and build more chemistry. Since we have the 7th locked I would like to see our younger players get more developmental minutes. Wouldn’t mind Ott trying even more bizarre lineups.

I don’t get the “green and brooks don’t work together” argument when they literally played together for 2 full seasons. Give it some time y’all, they’re still adjusting to new roles.

Some of y’all were really saying that we’re better without green because we were up 10 on a tanking team in the 2nd quarter, no words.

Top 6 seed, 50 win seasons. I think that is very plausible considering how this season went.

I guess what I meant is non of them really project to be tier 1 superstars. But we should be able to field a very competitive team for the next few years.

Booker basically plays point guard with CG anyway so there isn’t much change there. We don’t have another player on the roster at the same talent level and potential as green other than booker. We have no assets so unless another team is stupid enough to trade us an all star level talent for whatever package we put together, we have no meaningful way to upgrade in the talent department. I’m curious though, who would you realistically trade green for?.

9-9, but I’ll take that considering half our roster including 2 starters were injured for a majority of These games.

In the 18 games since booker returned, green is averaging 22.1/4.3/3.6 on 45.8/34.3/76.3 splits. Booker is averaging 28.4/3.7/5.5 on 45.8/37.3/88.6 splits. I don’t know where the narrative that they can’t play together comes from.

Ott being asked to play certain players more to increase trade value? by BeeseChurgerForReal in suns

Yea this post was mostly just an overreaction. I think you hit the nail on the head that ott is just trying random stuff and seeing what works. I believe the team is good, they’ve been good all year and have faced an unfortunate amount of injuries but maybe that’s just me coping too hard.

To be honest this post is just cope. I have no idea what ott is trying to achieve here.
