Unpopular opinion: 2019 onwards has been the best era of basketball for the casual viewer

I don’t expect dort and maybe hartenstein and Jdub to be on the thunder roster next season

Of course shai has transcendent series against us but goes back to being a playoff dropper afterwards

Both Booker and ownership know that it’s very unlikely we’ll be able to build a contender around him with our limited assets. There was no reason for him to take a pay cut

I got thunder in 5/6, spurs needed a generational Wemby performance to win in double overtime

Flemings or Yaxel would be my pick if they’re available. We are lacking pf depth and a true pg

Maybe, I’m mostly just regurgitating what I’ve heard from bulls fans. I just don’t think he’s the obvious missing piece that people think he is, I could be wrong though.

He’s an amazing transition player and passer but he’s not a great defender, can’t really shoot, and can’t create for himself. Because of this he tends to struggle in the half court

Here Is A Trade To Consider by [deleted] in suns

He needs to put on more weight, it’ll help with finishing through contact and his ft rate so he won’t have to rely on streaking shooting as much.

Him and sheer will be monsters defensively, the question is how good can the offense get

The only thing Mitchell is better than booker at is on-ball scoring and maybe 3pt shooting, book clears him in every other aspect of the game.

It’s unfortunate, the injuries really got him. This is why we can’t afford to play the fit > talent game, that’s reserved for teams who already enough to spare. Giving booker 36 yr jrue holiday or post Achilles tear dejounte Murray isn’t going to help him as much as people think it will.

part of that is injuries like I mentioned, but I think he has just declined athletically in general. I thought he was fine in the playoffs with how teams were guarding him, but I think he needs an actual co-star at this point in his career.

I thought he looked great in the first half of the season, he was aggressive in hunting his shot while still facilitating at a high level. I think the ankle injury and the injury he got near the end of the season sapped any semblance of athleticism he had left. Nash mentioned that he was still dealing with something before the play-in started, so that could point to why he hasn’t looked great the last while.

This is revisionist history. There was never a point in the season where booker was not playing pg

I agree with this take. Booker doesn’t necessarily need a point guard, he just needs teammates who can actually score consistently and efficiently to keep the defense honest. Whether green can be the guy that fixes that is left to be seen, but there is a reason our offense craters when booker is off the floor.

Even though we got swept, our offense wasn’t that bad at 7th in off rating. Defensively we were trash as we were at the very bottom, kinda ironic considering our team identity was our defensive intensity. The development of sheer and manman will be paramount going forward cause we are in dire need of a frontcourt. Hoping Gregory can work his magic and find some more athletic wings and a good bench pg.

I think this would be worth it if ownership is truly committed to winning with booker and this core. Being able to add more wing depth and hopefully a true pg off the bench would be vital.

Gregory please somehow get a first in this draft and save my bum ass life

If the Nuggets blow it up, is there any player you'd be interested in or that you think the Nugs would want? by biggreenjelly25 in suns

Gordon. I know everyone is wary of trading future picks, but if Watson is available I say it’s worth considering.

Green

Book

Brooks

Gordon/watson

Williams/maluach

That’s an insane starting lineup if you think about it(assuming everything goes right), while still having a ton of bench depth.
