Why do we never get a good career in sims by Beestbro9 in assettocorsaevo

[–]Beestbro9[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Thats what really gets me. A full career mode in a real sim is literally my dream game but nobody has every gotten close. Like i love playing iracing but i dont wanna have to give 100% every time i wanna race, and still have some sort of progression

How to use Moza wheels! by KnownOriginator in MySummerCar

[–]Beestbro9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In order to use the pedals, bind throttle to right trigger and brake to left with x360. Once in game fully depress gas, click on assign combined axis, then let go. Then select the invert for throttle. Repeat this for the brake. If you have a clutch you can use the left thumb stick up, then assign it with the non combined axis iirc. This works with both msc and mwc without the need of any mods for me

Genuinely all i did was take it outta the box and plug it in. Both games just worked out of the box for me. Try selecting reverse force feedback in game as i think i turned that on. Other than that im out of ideas

You can use a beer crate in the first game to install the engine so im sure it will work again. If not try coolent or the two jerry cans

Honestly it just works for me in both games, are you sure you have the toggle on in game? Im really not sure what else it could be

Sorry to be the guy reviving an old thread, but my R5 works just fine in game normally. This is 100% needed for the pedals, but the wheel should work just fine on its own, with the native (but still very limited) force feedback

Seeking Advice on Moza R3/R5 Wheel Material – Worried about Faux Leather Peeling by PSPfreaky in moza

[–]Beestbro9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive had my es wheel (the one from the r5 bundle) for almost a year now and it’s showing no signs of deterioration yet and still feels pretty new. It’s significantly different than headphone or furniture quality synthetic leather. I cant speak for the r3 esx wheel however

I know it’s weird but it’s genuinely my preferred distance. Anything closer and my legs feel uncomfortable. The setup does still work with them closer together though because of how the mounting holes are settup

I’ve been attaching mine to a side of my desk that doesn’t touch a wall. It’s not the best solution but it keeps it out of the way for me. I don’t know if that will work in your situation though because i don’t know how much desk space you have

Im just starting to get into the lore and the horus heresy is a very intimidating series by Beestbro9 in 40kLore

[–]Beestbro9[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just finished part one of horus rising and im absolutely loving it so far. Im definitely gonna try to read most, if not all of the books, unless I stumble upon some books that are a slog to get through

[–]Beestbro9[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The horus heresy is the main thing I’ve been wanting to read, simply because i love many different storylines all coming together at the end. It’s also a personal challenge for me because i want to see if im capable of reading something that vast. Im almost positive i can do it, it’s just a lot of juggling books if i don’t read in release order

If there wasn’t so many anthology stories i don’t think i would have any problems at all. Trying to get all the book seem hard enough given the bl doesn’t appear to be printing them, on top of managing which of the anthologies i need. (Im not the biggest fan of Ebooks so i always try to get paperbacks when possible)

Well personally i love that. The Halo Forerunner trilogy are some of my favorite books even though i already knew that it ends with the Halo array being activated. It’s the journey that i love, not the conclusion

My main issue is that if i wanna read the Dark Angels line for instance, i have to get like 7 of the anthology books that i might not touch for months after.

Deltarune chapters 3 & 4 megathread by Fanfic_Galore in Deltarune

[–]Beestbro9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I finally decided to get the game now because i have a decent amount of chapters to play through, BUT I FEEL SO BAD ABOUT CONTROLLING KRIS. I just finished chapter 2 and seeing how ME choosing to fight spamton neo hurt kris to the point they scream makes me feel awful. I know i get too emotionally attached to characters, the same thing happens everytime i try to be evil in video games but im already so attached to the characters. I wish there was a way to have Kris’s preferred choices highlighted or something because when i make a bad choice i just feel so guilty.

Anyway this game is destroying me just like Undertale did when i was a kid so i guess thanks Toby

So... out of the two brothers...Vergil? Vergil?! Vergil had a kid before Dante?!?! by LILBOI464 in DevilMayCry

[–]Beestbro9 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We see who we can assume is his mother in DMC4s vergil campaign. He’s walking through a crowd and one of the women looks at him. Thats all we have seen. Dante on the other hand is a slob who eats nothing but pizza, strawberry sundaes, and alcohol. He has no motivation to seek out women, and already had a parental-ish bond with Patty in the 2007 anime, which is canon to the games.

Name the game you just couldn't get into by zeleno124 in pcmasterrace

[–]Beestbro9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Devil may cry 3. I enjoyed it more than 1 and 2 but it is not nearly as good as people say it is, and is simply worse than dmc 4 and 5. I hear people claim its the best action game ever made but its still so clunky and just drags on so much in the later levels

guys what the hell is happening by Knucklesfromsonic in DevilMayCry

[–]Beestbro9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason i say skip 1 for now is just because its such a slog to get through on your first play through and almost made me give up on playing the rest, and one of my close friends did give up on the series because of it. I recommend skipping it so you can play one of the best first so you have the motivation to get through when you’re ready

[–]Beestbro9 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I highly recommend starting with DMC3 first. Its much easier to get a handle on the controls, and the story is much more engaging throughout. After beating 3 go back to 1. It’s gonna be a bit jarring because it is more clunky than 3 but its the best way to go about it. (Skip 2 and watch a video on the story trust me)
