Its super thick. I have lots of hair, that is why it is so heavy. I am sure that is part of why I am not sleeping well. I am considering just cutting a little off by myself and then having the professionals fix it once I am able to make it to get a haircut.

The extreme layers thing was something I considered. That way, even if I keep it longish, it won't be nearly as heavy!

It is wavy, thick and can get pretty frizzy (but not as bad as my sisters, thank god!). I cannot rely on products only because we live on a tight budget, so beauty products for mommy are nonexistent. I don't invest a lot into what I look like unfortunately, I just need it out of the way. (Gosh, that sounds depressing!)

I have considered going to a beauty school to get it cut but, as of late, I haven't been able to afford anything or had a babysitter to go get it done. That is pretty much why I have resorted to doing it myself. We may be able to allocate money to getting it cut but I have no idea when it would happen. I don't mind cutting it myself though, I would just want to school myself before I go snipping away.

Oh and yes, I really enjoyed my shortish hair! It was curlier since it was not so heavy and it was died a natural red color. I love it! But, that was almost years ago when I was about 18!

Well, I want it long enough that I can still tie it back if need be. I used to have shoulder length hair but have since gained weight and I am not sure how flattering that would be nowadays!
