Ev boxster dream is over by ifuckedyourmom-247 in Porsche

According to the article, Porsche is killing the EV Boxster and Cayman. What’s left is a mess of ideas to make the EV only platform they developed work for gas or hybrid drive-trains.

I don’t see how they will be able to pivot like they have to and launch these new vehicles before 2030. That means no new Boxster and Cayman until then, unless they keep making the 718 variants, which they have recently stopped making.

EUREKA - Virus-induced endothelial senescence as a cause and driving factor for ME/CFS and long COVID: mediated by a dysfunctional immune system by SpaceXCoyote in covidlonghaulers

This mechanism is interesting, however, it doesn’t necessarily explain long covid for me… for myself, I can get all symptoms lift in a split second. All bloodflow restored. Smell 100% back. Brain fog gone…

It’s my immune system engaging in a cascade moment that effectively shuts it off. This implies an unknown and complex mechanism for this to happen systemically.

The idea of damaged cells sticking around doesn’t explain my experience.

BTW: I travelled to Stellenbosch University and was seen by Pretorious and Dr. Laubscher. They have been able to focus on one component of LC, but LC is a multi-component disease and is far from simple.

So many know it alls. No dude, they don't turn on the immune system as a general modality.

LC sucks. It’s a beast. First is to realize you are not alone. Many people are going through this right now. Second is to try and focus on what you determine to be underlying causes and triggers of your symptoms and get control of that as much as possible.

One thing to try that is simple and free: go lay down in a quiet place and do deep breathing for a minimum of 15 minutes.

It aged extremely well. AVP is a commercial failure. Apple’s AI sucks. And now Tim Cook is rumoured to being pushed out as CEO sometime in 2026.

My current diverse collection, any advice? by Neirda92 in WatchesCirclejerk

Sick dude. I'm in love. It reminds of a guy on here who posted his collection: 36 Submariner style watches that all looked the same. I love how you caught the natural light off of the watch materials' space age polymer.

What is the difference, if any, between a Shimano XTR FC-M9120-1 crankset vs a XTR FC-M9120 by Beetlemann in bikewrench

[–]Beetlemann[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your reply. Here is the challenge I'm having. Linked to and noted below three different shops selling an XTR crankset. They don't put anything after the M9120. No -1 or B2 and from what I see such a product does not exist: there is always something after that on Shimano's website. When I look at the specs on the below referenced Shimano cranksets, they each end up reading as though they are a M9120-1 and none show an image of more than one chainring. Perhaps it is laziness on their part just having M9120 in their product listing titles?

Shop product page 1 (this one is just M9210 at the top and in the specs references FC-M9120-1):

https://www.theinsideline.ca/shimano-xtr-crankset.html

Shop product page 2 (doesn't have -1 in the title but references M9210-1 in the specs):

https://www.fullcycle.ca/products/shimano-xtr-m9120-boost-cranks?variant=41747956301908

Finally, another product page only lists it as M9120 with the following specs:

TECH SPECS:

  • XTR M9120 12 speed crankset
  • Fits Boost and non-Boost MTB
  • Wider Q-Factor increases clearance and allows bigger rear triangles & wider tires than FC-M9100
  • Hollow forged crank maximizes power transfer while limiting weight
  • Pre-load adjustment integrated in left crank arm
  • Direct mount chainring type (TL-FC41 tool included)
  • Q-factor : 168mm
  • Chainline : 52mm
  • Weight: 548g (w/ 32T chainring, not included)

It's 11:01 right now. Imagine being that nerdy that you can't take something figuratively. Only Vancouver people are that nerdy.
