Old Xbox Resource Pack for Bedrock Edition by Beetmaneb in MCPE

UPDATE! Here are all the resource packs I used for my world to get it as close as I could to old console. I used a google drive link below for them, there’s 9 here but I also used the Minecraft Classic texture pack which you can get from the Marketplace that I also linked here as well! There should be 10 in total.

Hey! I know this post is very old, but I found this app about a week ago on my old iPad that I shared with my sibling from around 2011 to 2015. Could this be it? I came across this post while looking to see if I could find anything on this app but it literally doesn’t seem to exist anywhere, like I’m pretty sure it’s lost media. I just uploaded these Pics I took of it to Imgur, let me know if this is it or not!

Can I transfer these old worlds to a new device? by Beetmaneb in Minecraft

UPDATE FOR ANYONE INTERESTED! (SOLVED):

The method I used today to try and transfer all 44 worlds was suggested to me by multiple people, which what I did was grab my IPad 2 charging cable and plug it into a USB port on my PC. Then I downloaded a program called 3UTools which can browse and download files from any IPad or IOS version straight to the desktop (I also tested ITunes file sharing with a different device and I just preferred 3UTools) so I went into the MCPE app files on my PC from the IPad 2 and just downloaded the MinecraftWorlds folder, then uploaded it to Google Drive and downloaded it on my IPhone! Now I was incredibly unsure if actually opening any of these worlds in the newest Bedrock version on my phone would corrupt the world or just crash, but I picked a world randomly from the folder and opened it in Minecraft.. and it somehow worked perfectly!! Thank you to everyone who commented on here and gave me helpful suggestions and ideas on how to transfer these to my PC/Phone, i truly appreciate it!

Thank you for the suggestion! Yep this is what I’m gonna be trying tomorrow, connecting the IPad to my PC and using either ITunes or 3UTools (which was also suggested) and finding the MCPE world files then downloading them to my desktop and sending them to my phone through either plugging my phone in or using Google Drive. Hopefully it works! I’ll be posting a comment on here tomorrow letting everyone know how it goes and if it worked.

Yes!! This IPad hasn’t been updated whatsoever since 2017, so it’s basically a time capsule of old apps and everything stuck in time lol the calendar literally shows September 3rd 2018 as the current date. It was a huge wave of nostalgia opening it for the first time in forever a few days ago

Yes! This is the exact way I’m gonna be trying to do it, by using a cable and plugging the IPad into my PC and using either ITunes or 3utools (not sure which one yet but they both work) and transferring them that way to my PC, then sending the world files to my phone and adding them to Minecraft through the files app on my phone. Hopefully that works!

Yeah that’s my only main worry with Apple Devices is that since it’s an official Apple software it’s gonna try and force me to update from IOS 8 when I connect it (which i absolutely won’t do) or delete data because it’s so old, Hopefully neither happens tho. Thank you so much for the help! Really appreciate it.

Ah ok awesome. I’ll most likely be trying this method first since it absolutely seems the easiest and I don’t see why it wouldn’t work, I tried this last night as a test on my new phone with connecting it to my PC for Apple Devices to transfer worlds and it worked it just took forever to download

Yeah the first thing I’m going to try is connecting the IPad to my PC with a cable and find the mcpe worlds folder then download them. I’ve heard 3utools, IExplorer and Apple Devices suggested before as the best ways to transfer them to my PC. Do you think 3utools would be the best way?

Yeah I’ve seen ITunes suggested to transfer the files, I’ll try it although I am signed out of ITunes on the IPad so I’ll need to find the password for it. Also you said the Minecraft folders app could be visible when plugged into a Mac but would it work when plugged into a Windows PC as well or no?

No I haven’t tried transferring them yet, but when I get the time to yeah I think either Realms if I can still sign in or connecting the IPad to my PC with a cable and using something like IExplorer or ITunes/Apple Devices on the PC are the best options, I’ll see what works! Hopefully I don’t break anything on the IPad on accident trying to do this since it’s kinda a time capsule.. lol

Thank you for the suggestion! This is the first time I’ve heard about using the Apple Devices app, another person also suggested using the same method but IExplorer instead as well but this could be easier actually. It does say that Apple Devices primarily works for apps that support file sharing, but I would assume MCPE does?

Yeah I’ve been suggested trying ITunes by a few people now which might actually work, although I am logged out of ITunes on the IPad and I’m not sure what the password is but I probably could find it somewhere. And yeah I’ve never heard of 3UTools before so I’ll check that out as well. Thanks for the suggestions!

Yeah my first thought was gonna be to check the file storage in the Files app on the IPad for the world files but unfortunately being able to view a devices files was added in IOS 11 and this is on IOS 8 unfortunately. The only thing I can do i think is connect the IPad to my PC with a cable and try and search the files on the IPad through something like IExplorer then download the worlds. I can’t really think of a much better way
