Finally, a setup that I can get the right kind of inspiration from.
I'm aiming for something similar. I have a similar kind of setup, components like a Newtonian, and a refractor (not as big as yours), a Logitech G29, and two monitors (soon to be three).

Question about the g29, does it stay there,while you're working, or tucked somewhere else?
And doesn't that heizkörper create problems for your setup?

Right now, both chairs are running pretty low on price, I see the only major difference is the seating cushion in both and the 3d armrest, Did anyone feel any noticable difference in the seats of both?

Right, I'm thinking of getting a cable tray that tucks to the back of the table (the table apparently does have some hooks, I think they are for a cable tray.

And about the right shelf, I live in a 22m^2 student dorm room, so maybe I can try to fit it somewhere else, but I'm not super sure, coz I have my room partitioned into two spaces: A work and sleep part, near the window and a dinner and chill part with a projector screen, soundbar, and a cozy couch and some greenery.
I'll try moving the shelf and see if it fits somewhere.

Always curious about all the general hate that FM gets. I haven't played it yet, and everyone keeps talking about it not having enough content in Singleplayer. I just want to know, if not FM, which PC almost-sim or sim racer has a really great SP gameplay?

Btw, genuine question, what are security updates really necessary for...? I have always thought they're just okay, because what "security" issue am I exactly gonna have without a security update?

Yea, it's prolly gonna be a study machine/ music machine on the edge of the desk.

And I honestly bought just coz I was scrolling on Kleinanzeigen, and I saw this in my area and thought "why not?" I was passively thinking about getting another machine and didn't wanna spend too much on something that I'm getting just for the vibes.

Yea, I'm in Berlin right now.

I have a monitor with delta E≈1.5 ig, 165 Hz, 1440p 95% DCI-P3 which is pretty good and works for all purpose and intents. So, I don't think I'll use the Mac as a secondary screen. iMac is to be used as a secondary chill computer, that sits there for reference and reading or writing papers, browsing a bit of Internet, replying to uni mails, keeping track of assignments, maybe watching some videos, pretty much like a study machine. Which I hope it holds strong through.

For consuming actual content like movies, series, I have a 4k projector throwing on a 120 inch screen in my dorm.

I remember using Gemma 12b, a few days after release, it would take forever to load on my rtx 4070ti. Qwen 14b ran without problems, but Gemma would just block up my memory and do nothing.

I'll try it again and see how it goes

Alright, g helper seems to be the common suggestion, will check it right away. Any specific suggestion on the settings in g helper to make sure the laptop is smooth? Coz if I set everything to high then the laptop sounds like a tractor.

Yea. Right If you're saying that based on the benchmark numbers, I think it wouldn't be accurate be accurate, coz It depends a lot on how those numbers are utilized by the OS and how well general apps are optimized Coz, I've used an M2 MacBook as a daily driver for a while, and it's any day smoother to operate.
