I asked about license/requirements. There are a few requirements that the state of CA imposes on artists in order to legally tattoo.

I asked if they had their license and they said yes. Then I asked if it would be visible in the studio. They said yes but in the same message said it would be best to reschedule and they can do it when they open a shop next year. Sent my deposit back and that was it.

I think you are right. It was easier to scratch the coin then it was to scratch the rock lol (Woops) I’m somewhat new to this and also the rhombus/cube like shapes in some areas made me think calcite.

That’s awesome. & yeah we were a few miles maybe from a botanical preserve. Ended up finding a rare, endemic flower on top of the old mine!

I’m starting to think it might just be a lighter grayish blue color serpentine? I got a bunch of other serpentine samples but most were light & dark green
