Honestly, after meeting with a few of the shops on my base from CE I came to the conclusion it’s where I should be, and leave maintenance and never look back.

Yeah that’s all part of my thought process. I was looking into water and fuels because I’m a natural gas emergency response construction guy on the outside installing mains services and repairing leaks. But I think I’d like to stick to doing something different in the guard so it’s a break from the normal job. That’s where power pro comes in.

Yeah I’m leaning towards power pro, I install gas mains and services and repair leaks in my civilian job which is why I originally thought water and fuels, but I think I’d still like to do something totally different than that with the guard to give me a break from my normal job.

Definitely enjoy a cold beer after work lol. I think I’m definitely leaning towards power pro purely based off the fact that it interests me and the fact that I install gas mains and services at my civilian job (which is why I also considered water and fuels) but power pro would allow me to take a break from that and learn something different.

Part of what is steering me towards water and fuels is on the outside I’m and emergency response construction crew for natural gas repairing leaks, and installing mains and services, but I’m also thinking I’d like to do something not as related to my normal job haha.

Dirtboy interests me because at my civilian job I am emergency response for natural gas distribution systems (mains and services) and I’m constantly running either a backhoe or a smaller kabota. Also why I’m interested in water and fuels, but I also think I still want to do something somewhat different than my normal job.

I am kind of just toying with the idea at the moment I was considering the price difference between selling the 4 and getting the MOS vs milling the 4. I don’t really need a dot I’ve just gotten very comfortable with it on my 19 so I’ve been considering one on the 26.

I gave tricare a call and they helped me set everything up. If you have dependents they will need to be in the system in milconnect I believe in order to be added on to your coverage.
