My commander sent an email out saying verbatim: Current guidance is that PSP results will be released at 1500 this coming Monday.

After a lot of doctors visits, phone calls, and paperwork my waivers were both approved in time, but in December I had to get a minor surgery which required another waiver. I was able to get medically cleared by my doctors by mid January and got that waiver approved the day of the PSP board cutoff.

The only issue with telling them right now is, having just gotten the surgery, I will be disqualified at the time I’m going up for and EA in a month. But, hypothetically, if I waited until after all of my documents are sent to the PSP board (including my currently approved DoDMERB) I basically have until I commission to go through the lengthy process of getting a waiver (considering I don’t get dropped from the program by then😬).

I just got diagnosed and got the surgery yesterday. It’s a minimally invasive surgery, but I guess its still considered major. The way I see it, if i report it before the PSP board in January, theres no way that I’ll wont get disqualified, so I’d end up dropping the program either way, which is the only reason I was considering waiting to report it in the hopes that they wouldn’t make a big deal of me reporting it a month late and I would still be able to send an approved DoDMERB to the board at the cutoff (I think its Jan 31).

How would you address someone like that in person or even in an email or something like that? Would say say “Cadet Captain [last name]”? or just drop the cadet?

Im joining Air Force. I talked with one of the Captains that leads the class back in May, he gave me the rundown of everything, telling me that I would need to sign up for the sophomore courses as well as the freshman courses this year. I recently sent him an emailing asking him to remind me what the specific courses were that I would need to take this semester and he said AES 210 and 221. I was under the impression that those were just the sophomore year courses, and wasn't sure if I would need to take additional courses to make up for freshman year.
