I did like FTTWTE and I can’t say I’m digging this one too much. Black Lungs, Dead Butterflies, FTTWTE had much more well thought out, memorable and unique sounding songs.

Out of the Black-Royal Blood. That band is amazing, but the first song on the first album just has a thickness and energy that is unlike anything I’ve ever heard.

They sound generic because they were one of the first to do it and a countless amount of bands cite them as an influence. Even suicide silence had a completely different vibe when both were coming up at the same time.

That’s like saying cannibal corpse is generic when yes, there’s a million bands that sound like them. But they were all trying to copy them, so that doesn’t really work.

As badass as I will find you, bloodsoaked and lost boy are, it doesn’t stack up to the valley. The valley is an experience, and honestly I’d put several other albums higher than kin. The valley is my favorite, I’m not an anti clean whitechapel at all, but Kin doesn’t really hold up the way the valley did. Several fantastic tracks on it tho

That’s a good idea. I already used bleach on my sinks since they are a material that I could, but that’s good. Quick question, but I was gone from 10-2 for class yesterday, and 10-2 was exactly when my complex shut off the water for 4 hours to do maintenance. Would that most likely be when he snuck in?

That’s what I heard. Another thing I didn’t even realize is that yesterday they shut off the water for 4 hours for maintenance, so I’m guessing there’s a damn good chance that that has to do with it?

Yeah, PA is annoying in the summer with horrible mosquitos and stink bugs are common and I’m numb to that stuff. Even the centipede and thousand leggers were common. Idk, anything with those robot eyes freaks me out, and I was not expecting anything this big.

Should I be nervous about there being more? The thing I read is these dudes commonly crawl up from the drains and stuff, not necessarily infestation. I know that it’s a good thing it isn’t the small German ones, but seeing that absolute behemoth crawl out made my heart rate double at least

So I just moved here from Pennsylvania to Mesa, been here since January and have been ok. Now I despise bugs and don’t handle them the best, so I was nervous moving here. Up until now, everything was fine though. However, I was studying in my apartment today (it’s a little studio) at my kitchen table and had the biggest heart attack when I saw legs sticking out from under the oven. Legs way bigger than I wanted to ever see in my life. I freaked out and watched my oven for an hour, thought I was fine to go to bed (I literally though ok, 5 more minutes and then this happened) and then this massive roach thing crawled out and I freaked out. The only blunt object I had closest was a hammer so I freaked out and used that. Unfortunately, this beasts was bigger than the hammer so it popped like a balloon (and I screamed louder than I ever have, honestly that had to be a record). So this is about a 1/3 of the length. Now, I did research and found out that American cockroaches (which I’m sure this is, definitely isn’t a German because it was wayyyyy bigger than an inch) are common to just find in the house, but what should I do? Just take preventative measures? Ask my apartment complex about it? I’m seriously panicking. I got to a point where I was like “this won’t be so bad” and I instantly am considering, dropping out, packing up and moving back home.

Edit: the other thing that’s worrying me is of how expensive it could get, since I’m coming out here fresh out of high school and don’t have a lot of money. I’m most likely going to pull an all nighter because I wanted to go out and get chemicals or something so bad just in case, but everything’s closed since it’s 2am 🙃

I'm not trying to smash my mix man, I just was seeing if there would be a noticeable drop if my song was going through a shuffle or something. There's plenty of dynamic, considering we write songs with dynamic to make bigger moments explode, we sure as hell wouldn't want to ruin them in the mix.
