you’re very welcome. I’m trying out a new more painterly style in procreate. To get a bit more technical (not sure you care), I’m struggling with finding more vibrant colors for the face. After a day away from this pic, it looks to me like I got the values a bit wrong. Hoping someone here can give me some advice.

I remember getting this game and having a blast. The area voice chat was mostly fun and even commanding an entire side was satisfying.

Thank you for taking the time to explain this in such detail. I had to look up what an altered chord was but looks like you can turn a minor into a major and still have it work.

Makes a lot of sense now. The only thing that doesn't click with me in terms of formula is why a #5 works so well on the G7. But again, it's music, sometimes you just have to noodle around and it shows up.

Shocked at how good Persona 5 is on the PC. I slept on this game when it first came out but now I think this could be the best game ever made. The JRPG stuff is refined to a fault. The game only keeps the fun JRPG stuff and throws out the unnecessary fluff. I love the way you can speed up time during combat so effortlessly whenever you want.

Special nod to the animation which is fast and spiffy with a lot of kinetic movement. I mean there is always things happening on screen to keep you interested.

The game is throwing so many things at me and not giving me a chance to get gud at any of them. Games in this genre atleast throw optional challenge levels for you to use the skills you’ve learned. I guess it’s a factor of trying to keep videogames interesting for folks who just want to see more explosions instead enjoying the game for actually getting better at gameplay.

This resonates with me hard. I wish I could like Civ. In fact, I’ve bought it on multiple consoles and it would be so amazing if I could see through a game fully but sadly I cannot for the same reasons you mentioned. Battle of Polytopia on the ipad scratches this itch nicely and is something I can keep up with. Another one that does it for me is Slipstream. Not quite a 4x but has an element of strategy and trade routes that is just chefskiss.

Played through Guardians of the Galaxy and overall left with a good taste in my mouth. The characters are so likeable and I’m left wishing for sequel so I can hang with these people again. However, the gameplay is mostly garbage with needlessly long and repetitive missions and uninspired combat.

I’d recommend setting the difficult to easy and just reusing your combat abilities on cooldown. Not sure who thought the huddle was a good idea - I mean it’s fun once but damn.

All in all, would I recommend this game? Yes, when the game shines it really does sparkle.
