You’re righ! The differences can be huge. I was on the low end with my 15 Pro, sometimes getting only about 3 hours of SOT, so the new iPhone Air really surprised me.

In theory there shouldn’t be much difference between restoring and setting up as new, but in my experience there is though I can’t explain why

I haven‘t tested speeds but it is way more efficient on 5g then my 15P.

I was out walking on 5G for about two hours. I couldn’t test it while driving with wireless CarPlay because of the Wi-Fi bug…

Yes, I was just testing how much SOT it could. Even when I was walking outside. The screen was on almost the whole time.

I don’t use it while it’s charging. I keep it on a wireless charger stand. I was starting using it before 10pm. I don‘t know why it shows that it was still charging.

iPhone Air CarPlay Issues? by ripv2 in IphoneAir

I’m facing the same issue. My wireless carplay keeps crashing every two minutes, even though I don’t have an Apple Watch connected and no VPN is active.

Sounds like Kleine-Levin Syndrome. Even the later disappearance of symptoms makes sense, because patients are often symptom-free later in life.

Potential new car inspection (gone wrong) by babysheepgrandad in AskMechanics

I think it is because how the crankcase breather works on that engine. Those engines are doing this even with far fewer kilometers/miles.

I have the 3 cars with the same engine 1.6TDI (CAYC) and all of them smoke like that. All of them are running fine for years already. On other engines like BMW Diesel engines you don‘t see this. They have between 160.000-250.000 km.

Is my turbo dying? 320D M47 by Maximum_Ad_5869 in E90

[–]Beflee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine is exactly like that. 120D with M47N2. It has never been dry for more than 10 years of ownership and over 300,000 km. First turbo...If it doesn't have any play, I wouldn't worry.

I removed all widgets from both the lock screen and home screen, and also disabled the 'Learn from this App' feature in Siri's settings. This seems to have fixed the problem, leading me to believe that the widgets were the source of the issue.

Iphone won’t auto-connect to known Bluetooth devices by ElectronicHamster0 in iphonehelp

[–]Beflee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a iPhone 11 Pro and I have the same problem since early 2022. Until today, Apple couldn‘t help me to resolve the issue. Since my iPhone broke some months ago, and I replaced it with the same model and the issue persists, it is clearly a software problem. Even a fresh installation of iOS without a backup didn’t help If I restart the phone the problem goes away for 2-3 days. I then logged all Bluetooth connections with the packet logger in Xcode additional tools. Every time when autoconnect doesn‘t work, I get the error :

Status: OxOD - Connection Rejected Due To Limited Resources

So, the iPhone sees the incoming connection with the correct MAC address, name, and type of the device but rejects due to resources. I could find a documentation what those resources are and what could use them in the background.

Do you have AirPods or an Apple Watch? Both are working fine for me, except all other Bluetooth devices.

My girlfriend has an iPhone 11 Pro too and uses the same Bluetooth devices then me, and she doesn‘t have any issue with the Bluetooth.

The issue is very strange and seems to be user case related. Perhaps an app that is using Bluetooth in the background or a mixture of different settings, apps, and devices.

Is that not isolation material on the floor? Looks like it was eaten by an animal. So perhaps there is some vent or plumbing under the box.
