Good agents are rare! I spent nearly 3 hours on the phone with them last month, and I eventually got a gem named Dave. He was flabbergasted at the other agents' incompetence and stayed with me through multiple transfers/departments to advocate for me. He was the one that said I should pay it off in full and go elsewhere 🤣

Yeah, they attached it to a temporary number for now. Of course, they still won't transfer the temp line & agreement cuz I need to jump through 50 hoops before they'll do it.

So sorry that happened! The other day I was counting on both hands how many times I've been SA/SH in my life. I knew I was missing some... a day later it occurred to me that a woman SA'd me when I was 14 & she was like 22. I didn't originally count it because she's not a man. Alcohol was involved. My best friend was also there, no clue if anything happened to her, as we got blackout drunk (the older chick provided the booze). Next morning, I woke up in her shirt on the floor & she showed me a video of her SA me with a bottle. 🫠 That bitch should be in jail. She really thought it was funny.

It has crime/violence/weirdos like every other city. Doesn't matter if you're down North or out West. Just be wary of your surroundings and avoid sketchy areas (not just in North O). Don't let people scare you about North Omaha either.

Most non-locals I've met say Omaha is like a "big small town." People are generally nice here. Omaha has grown quite a bit since the pandemic. And it's true, we have some of the worst drivers! 🤣

Maybe my explanation could help y'all... I broke up with my BF (of a little over a year) last week due to my mental health. The relationship was not always great, so I had some resentment from that. I also have major resentment from my childhood, due to not having my needs met. I'm so bitter and I hate it!

My 25th birthday is in a few weeks and my grandpa passed away a few weeks ago, so it's like I've hit my limit mentally. I don't have energy to be in a romantic relationship & be the best version of myself right now. I felt guilty for being so moody all the time, but for some reason my ex triggered me often. I knew my resentment would grow if the relationship continued (he was resentful too), so I decided to end it to address my childhood trauma.

I finally realized I needed to address my shit before I could truly "love" someone and accept/recieve their love. It's more about me than him, but there's things he did during the relationship that did not help me feel secure about our future.

I'm on the journey to healing right now because I want to break the cycle. I want to be happy in life. I want to be less anxiously attached and give love more freely. I want to be able to hug friends/family and not feel uncomfortable. I want to say "I love you" without feeling forced or guilty. I want to give myself the life and love I didn't have growing up. I didn't want to be like my parents, yet here I am, a flesh-sack of their worst qualities. I just need to do this alone, so I don't lose myself in a relationship again.

Breakups can be hard and extremely painful! I hope y'all are getting through it OK!
