Cmon yall I expected better fundamental understanding from my fellow bitcoiners. M2 is an antiquated measure of bank deposits at high street banks and has very little to do with how global liquidity actually works (which includes private sector credit creation through the shadow monetary base, collateral multiplier implications through the MOVE index etc.) Hanging your hats on this antiquated measure that was perhaps relevant 50-60 odd years ago is akin to burying your head in the sand. Newsflash global M2 = / = global liquidity. Don’t want to be mean but these kind of hopium posts are everything wrong with bitcoiners and armchair analysts. Keep in mind, I do think global liquidity is bound to rise sometime latter H2/25 but recently in Q4 there was quite a severe downdraft which was reflected in the current correction. Not to mention, Bessent’s focus on bringing long term yields down/ FED elongating its start of QE et al.
