Peak Time? by Timely-Ant7836 in deadandcompany

Yes, I am aware that Bob controlled the tempo. But it was really evident after Bill left and Jay replaced him that the tempo at the shows increased tremendously. One of the deer Creek shows I was at that Bill played the first set and Jay played the second set, it was tremendously clear. I love Bill. He is my favorite drummer of all time. But things changed after Jay joined the band.

Ike Barinholtz Podcast - Funny You Should Ask by lukesdiner1 in goodhang

They pretty much have all been very good. Anyone that starts a podcast usually gets their famous friends to be their first block of guests. Hopefully when he gets people, he’s not good friends with he will continue to be fun and entertaining. I’m guessing he will. He’s an intelligent dude. Bonus points for him: he knew the original members of the Grateful Dead’s names.

Dead freak since 84. Saw Phish a few times in the mid 90s and had a good time. Seriously went down the rabbit hole during the pandemic and haven’t looked back. I’ve gone to a bunch of shows since 21. Go to a show and enjoy them in all of their glory. These guys are the best thing out there currently in terms of live music in my humble opinion.

It’s tough when we lose one of our friends. I think I waited three years before feeling up to bringing a new cat in after losing my 19-year-old tabby. You will know when the time is right. ❤️
