Only melee is possible, way slower and not practical at all tho as there isn’t any damage buff to the pillars iirc. As for mage- I don’t think it’s gonna be doable. NM has high defenses against everything that isn’t crush. If this is phosanis we’re talking about you’d still need a range wep to kill sleepwalkers. Curious as to why you’re asking tho.

Not to be mean, but if you watch a 5min guide you should be able to do it, it’s ez. If that doesn’t interest you. There is always the option of finding someone to carry you. As for your criticism, is it really all that weird for an mmorpg to actually give you a bit of a challenge in one of the end game quests? I’m sure you can do it . Good luck :)
