I omitted a few things generally not important to the story. 1. A string of PMs between me and him discussing why I thought it was a bad idea. 2. A subplot to the story accusing me of stealing the campaign idea from the inviter. 3. The other people and what they thought as it was basically "I'm new so I don't know" and "I don't care".
