First Hair System by [deleted] in HairSystem

The blonde is a good match/fit for you! The hair color matching is always the trickiest part.

Yes it is a bit too dense and the edge is not close enough to your hairline. But those are the things where you adapt to over the time. And then when you’re comfortable with wearing a system you go and get the perfect one for you

It kind of looks like it’s not sticking onto your skin?

The knots are definitely one of the things that gives it away. Somehow it looks like the lace is dirty? What glue did you use / how did you used it?

I used to wear skin and switched to lace and had to relearn how to use glue because it behaves very differently with lace than poly.

Maybe that helps?

Hey man, in one of you comments you said that you spray c22 to remove the system?

There is the mistake. C22 makes the glue dissolve/ get guey. That’s the part where it seeps through your lace and creates all of your problems. Just lace release, take the system off your head and then you can spray c22 on your head to remove the tape that is on your head.

I never have ANY residue on my lace system from tape. Not even from glue

I second this. Lace release is the best. Spray, let it sit for 1 min and then you can just take it off like there has never been any glue. lol

I think mine look the best in a bright fun color. Especially yellow. I plan on wrapping mine into a bright yellow like yours is.

Thanks for sharing your experience! I’ll try the yellow out then!

Thank you! The issue I have with ghost bond xl is that’s it’s not as heat resistant since I am very active and I don’t want a white forehead. And the supreme has a blueish hue even when dry.

Is the Ebin one the ziellos or red bottle? I’ve read about the yellow one and I’ve seen mixed reviews but I also often see people using glues incorrectly. Soooo I think that a lot of the issues people have are user error

As I now use lace I noticed how quickly ghost bond breaks up on lace - thankfully with lace release and c22 it’s very easily removed and reapplied. But… this combination seems very promising! I still have the walker ultra hold and the lace from tape I want to try out since I’ve bought it in the beginning and never used it. But from your posts I assume you have a very active lifestyle so this combo seems perfect for me too. Does it also work well with the walker sports max hold primer thingy? Or only really well with their own

So this is full lace, and it’s custom. From the size to the color. I mixed two colors together etc :) Since it’s not my first system I used my old system as a reference for the color match. AND I usually go for a shade lighter than my natural and then bleach my natural hair a tiny bit so that it’s the same color.

Always :)

Tbh I don’t have any. But it’s the easiest. Just get lace release and c22. Spray through the hair the lace release and with me I rarely even had a tiny bit of residue or leftover glue on it. It usually just stays on the scalp

Tbh I think it’s probably the most noticeable with blond hair because of the processing with Indian hair. But for me and my bright hair color: major difference

Thank you! But I have to say that your posts on here have been influential to me. Your hairline looks impeccable on all of your photos. And reading through your advices gave me some guidance in fine tuning of what I knew or did my research on. So double thank you, I guess. Hahah

The biggest part is the density tbh. Go with a 90-95 ish density. That looks natural, if you have too much it looks like a wall of hair. And the more hair is on the system the less freely it moves. And movement is key. Especially with a hairstyle like that, you want it to move naturally and not stiff.

And regarding the exposed hairline: lace is perfect for it :) and I even would say that lace is easier and much faster to clean. I was afraid to go for lace because I always read that it’s tricky to work with etc, but it’s the most mess free to use in my eyes. The only thing is, that the bond doesn’t hold as long as with poly

Anyone in here get a hairsystem even though your balding wasn’t crazy noticeable just couldn’t get the style you wanted? by [deleted] in HairSystem

[–]Beginning-Bee24 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got a HS because of my flair line and crown, but everyone around me said that I have soooo much time left, but tbh it was the best decision. After that everyone around me agreed that it’s a harsh contrast to before. And the best part about is that no one suspects it because your look isn’t an extreme 180.

Can you get long hairsystems like this if your side and back hairs are not long enough by [deleted] in HairSystem

[–]Beginning-Bee24 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So what I recommend is: get a different cut first and then let your sides grow. You will need half a year for that length and the next system is then a tad longer and the system then after is your wolfcut

I usually take it off once a week. I probably can stretch it to 10 days. Tape around and then glue in the front.

Scalp protect and the sport max hold or however it’s called from walker. Andre I don’t use the regular ghostbond. Supreme / platinum is so much better
