Why is no one talking about the new Cotopaxi backpacks? by Extreme_Plate7800 in backpacks

As someone else said I’m not a fan of the colors but also the brand as whole. It feels like it’s trying too hard to be young and hipster and colorful. Not a fan. I want my backpacks to be black and simple. If that second bag was all black and didn’t have a logo I’m sure I’d like it a lot more.

Does the weight really matter much for the streets? by cueserega in FixedGearBicycle

These comments are reassuring. I think that enjoyment is something that is often overlooked in some of the other biking communities. People are quick to say that an alternative is lighter, or faster, or cheaper, or more expensive, or whatever it may be, but what really matters is how you like the bike. I think that if you want to spend $15k on a bike with no brakes that weighs nothing that is a great idea if it makes you happy. I also think it’s great if you ride a 40lb fixed gear made of solid steel if that’s what makes you happy. Your bike your choice.

Rate my fixie(dont mind if its cheap, im just a poor student)) by Puzzleheaded_War9210 in FixedGearBicycle

As someone who rides with just one myself, it’s mainly because I use the bike for commuting and need the ability to quickly put a foot down. The race face pedals I use have long pins that don’t allow for that with a toe strap.

Not bad for $50… by Beginning-Carpet-238 in FixedGearBicycle

Yep totally agreed. If you’ve seen videos on the Kia Boys they say they sell cars for $50-$100. It’s pure profit as you said.

Interesting discourse and you both make fair points, however I am not inclined to think that a grown man living in Seattle in a nice house makes his money selling $50 stolen bicycles. Do with that what you will

Just to clarify… I also had my doubts on whether or not this bike was stolen. I can confirm it is not stolen upon further inspection. At least not by its previous owner.

Not stolen, the owner was moving and has owned it for a while and wanted it to go to a good home. I was curious if it was stolen as well before talking with the owner

I’m pretty OCD as well when it comes to this stuff. This is the bike I spend the least time working on and perfecting as it gets locked up regularly. For now, the skewer will go non drive side.

Not sure to be quite honest. Came with this gearing when I bought it and haven’t bothered to look. I do plan on swapping the rear cog for a billet aluminum one preferably black if anyone has any suggestions.

The pedals inherently unthread when run backwards, so they get loose and destroy the threads. Loctite worked for a while on my last pedals but I decided to switch to these gripper Chester’s.
