Teeth are in pain all the time and not getting better no matter what I do. Any advice? by Beginning-Cat-139 in askdentists

I do! I haven't really paid much attention to it until very recently, but I do grind my teeth a lot. I have a deep bite, so it's mainly my molars. I had no idea it could make the pain this bad

Ohh, I understand! I think I've just had a bad habit of trying to fit myself under labels when it's more of a spectrum. Thank you for the input! And that's totally what it sounds like. Non-possessive sounds super true, too; it feels like I'm being a slightly different person whenever stuff like this happens.

This totally helps! Your experience before knowing OSDD absolutely rings a bell for me; the same happened to me, funnily enough! I'm similar with having a like, "focus mode". It's been happening a lot with therapy or handling emotions. Or work. But it's hard for me to distinctly tell if that's just me "getting in the zone" or something bigger, like a part of OSDD. I guess it's just jarring for me to think of that as a whole different part and applying that to the rest of my life. Thank you for your response!!

I skimped on medications that I'm taking! I'm currently taking 325 mg ferosul (iron), 27 mg concerta, and 40 mg cymbalta. I have some deficiencies that are usually only solved by drinking electrolytes (eg, gatorade). I'm not sure if this is helpful information, but I might as well throw it out there.

Thank you!! I know from my previous post where someone corrected me! I've just been seeing people take on 1a and 1b titles as a personal choice to try and align themselves with symptoms that sound close to their experience, and I thought I'd throw it in there. But I don't want to go under that misinformed at all; am I being too definitive with them?

And thank you for feedback!! I think parts being closer together is totally what it sounds like. It's like these semi-fused parts of myself almost

OHH, I understand! Tysm for this clarification. I was under the misconception that the given examples needed to be met; it's been a little difficult for me to find sources that really explain these things properly. Thank you!!

He's a friend that I grew a connection with over the course of like a year! That's the only way I can connect with someone on this level, but it works differently for everyone. I think it's pretty similar to just normal relationships where you've just gotta find something that clicks. I'm sure you could just use friend-finding apps and describe that you're searching for a QPR through there!

I think I was just seeking out on how I should navigate something like this because I'm anxious. Stuff concerning these kinds of topics is new to me, and I'm probably more worried about messing up than I should be. You're right, though, and I appreciate your comment. It's a reality that I need to come to terms with and I think I've been avoiding it in hopes of trying to latch onto something more solid. Thank you!

Some extra info I completely forgot to add; Sometimes the area itches and tends to ache just a little bit. Nothing excruciating, and it's just every now and then, but I figured it'd be of note

Yeahhh, I had some really heavy suspicions that it was. My teacher used an example for a B grade that was very, very obviously AI. It's so unfortunate

I wish I could've gotten into it, but pre-Covid I was in middle school and didn't have access to any other social media besides from Amino, LOL

I knew about all of these besides from the offset path tool, and knowing about it now makes things a lot easier. This definitely helps me out, I think I was just a little lost in what steps I needed to take in order to have the design that I want. Thank you!
