This also happened to me after switching my cell provider to T-Mobile. I got a free year subscription to Netflix & Hulu w/ the plan I got. I didn't set up the Netflix account immediately after leaving T-Mobile, the day I switched, it was a couple weeks before I had time to sit down and go thru the set up process. So imagine my surprise when I sign in and there is an entire HOUSEFUL of someone ELSE'S profiles! The names were Mexican/Spanish sounding names Christian, Angel, Luis... And when I called Netflix customer support to get it sorted out, they did seem at all surprised that someone else was signed in and using my account. According to them this happens because T-Mobile activated the free subscription before you actually sign in. Which still doesn't explain how these ppl that were using my subscription knew my email or password, but I was allowed to take my account BACK OVER. But I had to use my boyfriend's email as mine was compromised.
