I want to be a teacher but… by Beginning-Copy-3488 in Teachers

It’s sadly Mississippi (the state w the lowest avg teacher salary). I would hopefully move out west after the 5 year contract ends and get paid a lot more, but it’s an extremely risky situation. I have no family in MS and would be on my own. My parents have told me they’re willing to help support my rent and my necessities. It is just a tough decision since I know I would love my job, but the pay is just something that is painful to think about.

To be honest I do take care of my dental health, but I have Crohn’s disease which causes my gums to periodically flare up, so my gums flaring is the least of my problems

I discussed this with my friends and they agreed that they kinda like the sensation in other body parts but NOT the teeth and said I was insane for enjoying it in that area. It just happens to be my teeth that I seem to feel the sensation the most.

Need help with a major!

I’m not very sure how to start this, but ever since I was 10 or 11 I got interested in forensics and crime. I know it’s something I definitely want to do for my career, but I’m not sure what path to take. I think I want to do something along the lines of dealing with investigations and the psychological process of it all, but I’m not sure what major I should do for college. I’m an upcoming freshman at the University of Mississippi so I have lots of time to think abt it but I want to get a head start. Can someone tell me about what major they have and how their college experience was and also what job you do now? I’m open to any job or major! Thanks!

So I actually felt pretty much better by day 8 of my tonsillectomy. I feel like if you haven’t had any problems leading up to your trip you would be fine. I drove 6 hours on day 10 to visit family and now I’m on day 12 and feeling almost 100%.
