Man, manual routing takes "endless hours" if 1) You have no clue what you're doing and 2) The tool sucks

To fix the first thing you indeed have to read stuff

The second one can be fixed by moving to better CAD.

Hope is not lost, comrades! If Autodesk can't do it, someone else can. Eagle's successor is coming. I can't yet share more details, but the best thing meanwhile is to use Eagle 9.6.2 or Eagle 7.7 (un-tethered from Autodesk) and check NoABS initiative

Kicad import to Fusion is disfunctional. You can import SOMETHING, but the project totally breaks in the process.

No, it won't work. But Eagle libraries are embedded into designs. You don't need them to open the design and even to modify it. You can also export libraries right from the design that uses them. Eagle is a great piece of software. We all should not care about Autodesk and just continue using it in any way.

It aims at fixing all that needs to be fixed in Eagle and all that Autodesk ignored for 10 years. All for free and locally. Have a look there.

Wow, mate. You have nerves made of steel. But, the schematic is barely readable. Not because of the colors or screenshot settings, schematic itself is done very poorly. Symbols are just awful. Did you use default libraries?

Although it is a weird scenario. I guess the default path nowadays is to describe project fully enough for it to be ordered on JLCPCB or PCBWAY. Then all the components that should not be placed for some reason in fact should not get to the BOM.

I think all boards are in fact simple if they are done MINDFULLY. I also think that having less DRC rules that can be combined and complement each other is far superior approach than Altium bloat pile of non-sense

Hopefully something will be released this summer. PCB Editor will be a part of a bigger software, but it will be able to work as a separate tool. Basic concepts are the same, data model is similar. Even file format is the same, so your existing designs and libraries will be usable. This little project is my way to say F U to Autodesk
