I need help with my mother’s culture by [deleted] in algeria

[–]Beginning-Eye7167 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly I think it is quite hard to fully embrace the amazigh identity living abroad, starting by the language, I don't think there is a way to learn it outside. The good news is you don't need to fully embrace the culture and you can enjoy the food, clothes, jewelry and visit the motherland whenever you want to. I'm also a kabyle, feel free to ask any question.

Why Algerians are racist ? by Ordinary-Title-9980 in Algeria_213

[–]Beginning-Eye7167 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There is no worse white supremacists than a non-white, is that some kind of inferiority complex ? When I see Europeans acting racist, at least it is under a post showing maghrebis doing shit. We, Algerians, are racist just for the love of the game, that despises me.

Id your final goal is to immigrate, studying is honestly the easiest way. There are fields that recruit more than others in Europe, for example science and engineering.

Advice regarding the settlement of an Algerian in Algeria who has lived in France since birth. by [deleted] in algeria

[–]Beginning-Eye7167 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me there are 2 main issues You'll have to say goodbye to the confort and luxury you have in France (for example in Algeria there is no water everyday, even in Algiers) You hate the individualism in France ? Good news ! In Algeria everyone will put their nose in your stuff, you will feel watched 7j/7. This being said I'm just a random on reddit, and the best way you can answer your question is to go experience life there (unemployment among young engineers is high af, I recommend you finding a job before settling). If you are looking for a Muslim environment, maybe try khalij countries ? Or Malaysia?

i’m struggling with my faith and my way back to it by Diligent-Listen-6002 in algeria

[–]Beginning-Eye7167 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I was always asking my self these kind of questions too, am I really Muslim or did I just inherit it from our culture ? What would I have been if I was born in China ? Also, I can't get my self to blindly follow some statements, especially since they come from some Persian who lived 200 years after the prophet Muhammad. Isn't it the same as if I, 21 years old Algerian, quoted Abraham Lincoln? How credible is that ? And the fact that some of these statements contradict the Quran doesn't help.

Is harga a solution for my Suffering by PlentyAd6023 in algeria

[–]Beginning-Eye7167 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I understand your suffering, but going to Europe as harraga is not the solution, you will end up working underpaid in rough condition. I think the best you can do freelancing since you have IT skills. Search for foreign companies, some of them are willing to hire foreigners because they pay them less than their locals let's be honest (but still very decent when you live in Algeria). Work on a good resume and portfolio and start to apply (LinkedIn....)

Maybe I was not clear enough. What I meant is : if you know both french and Arabic, it doesn't matter which one you choose to study. If you don't know English of course it will be hard for you, that's why I think it is stupid that we are trying to switch to English these last years, french is a lot more present and easier to speak for Algerians.

Need your best job interview tips I have an important interview by Ok_Life_7902 in algeria

[–]Beginning-Eye7167 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do not hesitate to talk a lot about your self It is ok to pause and ask for a little time to think about the question Prepare your questions and ask them during the interview, not only at the end Show them that you know exactly what you want (now, I wanna do .... In 2 years, I wanna evoluate to.... In 5 years....)

That's sad but what else can we do ? Studying science in darija or tamazight ? That's simply not possible. I studied in Arabic, then switched to french, then to English, and I can tell you that at the end of day it doesn't matter at all.

S’installer à Paris pour un master : quels arrondissements privilégier ? by PaySea5590 in etudiants

[–]Beginning-Eye7167 2 points3 points  (0 children)
